Dash partners with AEON onboarding Millions of Merchants Worldwide

We are thrilled to announce that Dash has partnered with @AEON_Community, a payment and settlement layer for the AI economy, to enable Dash payments across AEON’s global payment network of millions of merchants worldwide.

With AEON, AI agents can search, buy, and pay in crypto on the user’s behalf. AEON Pay has processed 994k transactions with over $29 million in volume across 50 million merchants in Southeast Asia, Africa, and Latin America. What This Means for Dash

This integration allows Dash to be used for everyday commerce across AEON’s worldwide network of merchantsUsers can now make online and offline purchases with Dash through AEON Pay, including payments for dining, retail, and services at checkout points. This opens up Dash users to accessing over 50 million offline merchants in Southeast Asia, Nigeria, Mexico, Brazil, Georgia, and Peru, with plans for further expansion in Africa and Latin America.AEON Pay is accessible via the AEON Pay Telegram Mini App and integrations with wallets such as Bitget Wallet, Binance Wallet, and OKX Wallet. We are scoping out work to integrate into our own native wallet, DashPay, as well. Transactions involve scanning QR codes to pay with crypto, with merchants receiving settlement in local fiat.

Dash’s Sprint to Mass Adoption

This new partnership with AEON brings us one step closer to our goal of worldwide mass adoption of Dash as money.Dash is a digital currency designed for payments and money, featuring instant confirmations, very low fees, high scalability, and high usability. Users can pay using intuitive usernames and contact lists at the protocol level, and back up all their transaction metadata on the revolutionary Evolution network.First, we onboarding bill pay services that cover about half the world. Next, we built in some preliminary payment tools into DashPay, giving access to hundreds of thousands of merchants in the US, with more countries coming.
