v0.10.9.x Help test RC2 forking issues

Status
Not open for further replies.
I was having trouble syncing the testnet chain on onde masternode. I tried everithing proposed in this thread with no success.
So I used the stable version to synchronize, no problems there, and then updated the binary to rc3.
Still synchronized

Can anyone send 1k to msBm7XEsX4x5DSkLcC44tayXS3hYyN8wBR so I can start the masternode? Thks
Sent.

Having syncing issues. Is the network forking again?
Yesterday one of my machines got stuck around 11969 (tried reindexing and deleting testnet3 folder multiple times)
Today it's stuck on 12283 as of now (already tried reindexing and adding nodes from this thread)
Other machine snyced fine yesterday. Today it's stuck on 12385 with 0 connections. Will try reindexing this one now.

Both machines run
"version" : 100900,

Set up three MNs for testnet, all synced sucessfully. After 3 hours one of the MNs dropped to a fork.

Code:
2014-06-02 11:21:22 ERROR: CheckBlock() : Vote not found in previous block

I will send the full debug log to Evan

Before this event the votes list ('darkcoind masternode votes') of both nodes was in sync, after that the lists are different - whereas both nodes still seem to be synced of the same blockchain.

It really looks like the old version is more stable than the new one. Or is that by design to force forks?

Morning :)
Just did a masternode list, and got a list of 62 MN and all of them with : 0

I haven't had a payment in either node, and unless my machine is the one I'm listing from, I also get a : 0 next to my ip (if I'm doing a list on that particular vm, I get : 1, but obviously it's not so.

No idea what's wrong. Last night I only got 4 on the list?

I figure I'll wait until Evan says to reset??

Isn't this just the real life situation?
so we will see real results.. =P

not yet updated...

I should make a stat page(actually doing now)

Thank you to whoever sent me the 1337 DRK coins :)
I can setup a MN tonight, but I have 68 connections to my darkcoind at this time, so I don't know where I can be most useful? Perhaps switching over to MN should have just as much connections as it does on this darkcoind 9.5.0?

Received . Thanks for the quick turnaround.

You're welcome. I got the coins from other users on testnet also. I haven't setup a miner on X11, and the setgenertate true on darkcoind does not produce any coins :(

Wish all the best to Evan. We got a lot of attention on DRK now being listed on bitfinex.

Everyone please update to the new version 9.5.1 or 10.9.1
I've made some progress and added some more debugging to help with the forking issue. Thanks!

great, are there binaries up yet?

nvm, there are ;)

Evan, when we find the errors you're looking for, do you need just those lines or the entire debug.log?
Can I just "grep CheckBlock | mail" them?
