Send me something and post your addy so I can send something to you

I'm also solo-mining via setgenerate true -1 I did find a block last night
So far this thing works like a charm
Zero Collateral fees on my end
Somebody hit me :)

Can someone help me figure out what is going on?
I had approx. 5121 Drks at 08:50. I did the upgrade to v.16
I transferred 1000 Drks at 08:59 (I think using "no preference" option)
Transaction id: http://test.explorer.darkcoin.qa/tx/53b1f215204ddf9bb54dcd05ea1f978e370d3437790700cb624cce0bc006e890
The transaction went through. Took all the anon inputs and outputted to two addresses. (This was interesting because, I thought it shouldn't take all inputs but I put that down to being on v.14, upgrading to v.16 which could be handling inputs differently. I then expected the new amount to be denominated but it didn't.)
The interesting bit is now the wallet is showing 6021.228 Drks.

The transaction record does not show anyone transferring any Drks to me:
ofFmWGK.png

I then deleted blocks and chainstate just in case there was an issue and resynced. Still showing 6021.228 drks.
Edit: Now I'm at correct block height but wallet is not denominating. And still showing 6021.228 Drks.
Edit2: Last three transaction entries are not showing up in test explorer:

I have not seen this discussed here - and I do try to keep up on things but....
How will us/the MN owners be able to keep the 1000DRK locked away and keep from it being "manipulated"?
I see no way to "lock away" coins.
Kinda scares me a bit.
If there is a solution already - what is it? or point me to it - thx in advance.

Linux Daemons will run with darksend off by default. Encryption also prevents denomination, AFAIK.

I do remember reading that now - thx
edit - wait - my MN local wallet is on WIN7 - I'm not sure what you just said will help me

Also, if masternode=1 is in the conf file, it doesn't denominate.
Anyway, that's a weird issue, ozziecoin, you made yourself some coin, dude! Nah, seriously, are you sure about the beginning balance? You may not be seeing all the transactions there, can you export it to exel or something so you can see all the activity?

Sure tante: see this: http://test.explorer.darkcoin.qa/tx/53b1f215204ddf9bb54dcd05ea1f978e370d3437790700cb624cce0bc006e890
That was pretty much all the coin that was there. I transferred out 1000 test Drks, the wallet used all the inputs automatically.
Edit: I want more Drks but not like this ;)

That still relies on memory, can you export your transaction file (lower right button under transactions)? It'll show everything with commas in between. A real b*tch to read, but if you open it in excel it's nicely lined up.

Also, I was wrong about the masternode setting in the conf file, it doesn't prevent auto denominating. But you do have to put in your password if you wallet is encrypted, to start the process, so I guess if you don't unlock, it doesn't get denominated. It'd be great if we could mark which amounts we want to denominate and which we'd rather keep as is....

Also, I kind of feel like my wallet would be vulnerable sitting there for hours unlocked until the autodenomination is complete. Is there any way that starting the process (via putting in your password) that the wallet could auto unlock when needed and then lock back up instead of staying open?
I have another question, I haven't been charged for denominating my first batch. No fees of .001 ever came through. Yet my balance was denominated and I was able to send denominated funds to others. Why was I not charged, yet others (as seen above) are being charged? I'm using the windows 10.12.16 version? Thanks, it's a mystery, I'd like to solve, LOL :)

OK got the first collateral fee after the latest build for the windows wallet. About an hour before I closed the wallet while it was doing denominating and sending some coins. I did it on purpose to see what could happen, then I opened the wallet again and saw it continue denominating and finishing the sending with no problem, but then it got a collateral an hour later. Could this be caused by the wallet being closed? Thank you.
upload_2014-8-7_0-28-50.png

EDIT: Now I got two more collateral fees.

Okay - I need people to help test SMALL amounts of DRK.
I found that - after emptying my wallet to a fellow DRK head that I had a ZERO wallet - lol - duh
bare with me - I'm building a base-line for this story

So with a ZERO wallet she sends me 35 DRK - I'm looking out for the little guy here
When I get said funds I get a 0.001DRK charge to Denominate my DRK
Still waiting for ANON DRK's
But there is now a SEND and RECEIVE fee of 0.001 (not bitch'n just sayin) and kb dependent?
I'm not going to do anything until my Wallet "settles" with a full ANON and see what the costs are.

It just seems that - for the little person - the cost to SEND and RECEIVE - the cost goes WAY up per percentages.....

Should this not be the other way around?

Free if small DRK sent and huge fees if large DRK sent?
on a running scale?

If we're gonna FREE the world with e-cash - why do the big spenders get the near free ride?
While use little guys get treated like we always have? Screwed with huge percentages per DRK to SEND and RECEIVE?

Help me out here Evan......

There has to be a way to charge the small guys less and the PHAT CATS more.

That's just really bazaar. There must be a hidden transaction somewhere, but I can't find it! Have you tried sending the whole balance to someone, or another one of your wallets? It may error out? The coins have to be "real" and exist on the blockchain, so if something is wrong with the reporting, it should not allow you to send them. Want to give that a try? Here is my address, if you want to give it a go, I'll send 'em back to you then :) myA9PyN8dLzbNxvvMwTmELS2kWg26gbnX7

And Blue, I still have yet to be charged for a transaction, weird!

Moli, yes, if you closed your wallet while it was being denominated (and you can't tell if it's happening, only if it's NOT happening, because it locks up again when finished) yes, you will get collateral fees. I'm trying to get collateral fees, but I guess I'm closing my wallet before anything is in the mixer all the time, LOL.

Thanks! Looks ok now

Now a Question:
Why not ALL of the DRK is Anonymized?
Total balance: 999.998
Anonymized: 999.00000023

Should it be 1000 DRK - 2 x 0.001 (fees)?

I asked the exact same question a few days ago on the bitcoinforum (Alt coin Darkcoin) and got the following answer :

Works as designed: your 1000 DRK were anonymized into 23 denominations --> 999.00000023
This is also the largest amount you can get anonymized out of 1000 DRK, as denomination takes at least 1.1 DRK (1 DRK + 0.1 DRK). So your 0.997999977 un-denominated funds are not qualified for further denomination

I just thought of something Ozzie, did you get your coins from the faucet? I accidentally double clicked when I put in the code thingy and sent myself 2000 coins at once. I also did it the first time and didn't get any funds. Maybe the faucet is being weird? Still, it should have shown up in the transaction ledger....

Qwizzie and DrkMiner, it's because we only denominate down to ... well, I don't recall, but I think like 1 coin or 0.1 coin or something like that. So when the funds are that small, it can't denominate anymore.

Oh, duh, 1 coin as stated above, LOL
