I think those are just Forex trading codes, not actual currency codes.
Also, as already stated, preventing exchanges from listing other coins named "Darkcoin" or "DRK"I think DASH is the best choice, it makes everything very consistent and easy to understand.
Then I am eager to hear next Let's Talk Bitcoin.I describe this in great detail on the next Let's Talk Bitcoin.
I'm with you on that. But the elephant right now is... what if we can't use it ? Any ETA on trademark issues?I think DASH is the best choice, it makes everything very consistent and easy to understand.
I agree ISO compliant would be ideal. Also curious for what happens to the old Dashcoin.
stand people. I am a member of the old community dashcoin. tell me what will happen to the original dashcoin?
But ISO compliance is more professional and it's one less thing that would need to be changed in the future if it does gain widespread adoption. I say we start acting like we want to be taken seriously now and differentiate ourselves from the DOGE and MONA and CLAMs in the sea of generic cryptocurrencies.I think DASH is the best choice, it makes everything very consistent and easy to understand.

And what is the problem here? If anything ISO starts way after patents and trademarks end, by a long shot. ISO may restrict some abbreviations, but its like a lottery. no you dont.
It is not our fault. YOUR developer sold the right to us. If you have complaints direct them at the correct person.you kidding? what it means to join you?
and if we had coins and their investments, who we will reimburse them?
for that mess? Hundreds of people are extracted. Did you just lock the account with the source code?
http://www.xe.com/currency/xbt-bitcoinThere is no official ISO currency code for Bitcoins, although XBT is commonly used.
No one will reimburse. Its now officially legacy software. Like Windows 7 software wont work on Windows XP.you kidding? what it means to join you?

I was just being polite, it was just an invitation. The original developer of that project abandoned the coin on his own. We only bought the rights to the name. If you have any questions with regards to that you should direct them to the developer of "Dashcoin" we don't have any details on his decision not to continue with that project.you kidding? what it means to join you?

Bitcoin is still BTC and XBT, right?
Also

So we can be DASH and X?? too I guess (no idea what letters suit ?? places best yet)
I know we don't chose ISO, but ISO compliance would help reduce confusion for things like Forex exchanges and help avoid the problems Bitcoin has had with BTC/XBT.And what is the problem here? Exactly!!I know we don't chose ISO, but ISO compliance would help reduce confusion for things like Forex exchanges and help avoid the problems Bitcoin has had with BTC/XBT.
Agreed. We're going to need some good graphics to embed the ideas in it... It can be made to work.DASH sucks, but if nothing better emerges QUICKLY, we have to run with it.
Hey Bro, could you be the DASH Dalmatian without the unofficial logos for a little bit, a few days? It is your unofficial account but we will need your support in pushing the new branding and we need to avoid confusion by promoting unofficial logos. Just a friendly request. The Darkcoin Chameleon re-brands to the DASH Dalmatian (no logos official):
