v0.11.2.x Testing

I set the rounds at 12 and it ended up at 23. About 2h ago I had 6 rounds finished. Something is weird.

Normal. Sort by rounds and you'll find 12 at the bottom. Those 23-round denominations were included in other mixes (with denominations less than 12 rounds) in order to match denomination groupings, as I understand things.

DS limit has been removed since v.11.2.11. I noticed 23 rounds on v.11.2.8 but I think it got changed before that version, not sure though.

******************** TESTNET : 11.2.15 - (Not Mandatory) *********************************

Looks like we'll be launching 11.2 on Monday if there's no issues over the weekend. Great work everyone!
This release is not going to include masternode blinding, because we were trying to meet the rebranding deadline.
However, next release will include blinding and upstream Bitcoin changes from 0.10.

- Icons and other branding fixes - crowning
- Merged translations from transifex, if anything is missing please update transifex and I'll pull in the new changes.

** Compiling - if you get a 404 try again in a bit

Windows download still shows v.11.2.14.

Playing around with the new QT and found this little bug--

simply entering "masternode vote" without a "yea" or "nay" causes the QT to crash (Linux64).

BTW, regarding the "masternode vote" command, couldn't there also be a vote-alias option, for cases where one wallet controls multiple masternodes for different voting parties? (this is probably not too important, though)

Majority of my nodes (3 masternodes and the p2pool one) died during the day... Running 0.11.2.13.

Edit: Even after various restarts with 0.11.2.15 and -reindex they keep falling to safe mode and fork.

eduffield, I think Testnet is having a fork.. need more testers to mine on testnet.

Just got 20 tDASH mined on my wallet... Could I convert this to real DASH..? LOL

3 questions:
1. How does someone get notified of a new round of testing, so they can help?
2. How do you PM someone on this board?
3. I hope that the mainnet mining fees do not change. If they decrease like tDRK did here, it will take 78 YEARS to recover my investment of 1000 DRK.

1. I just keep watch on this forum and irc - freenode #dashpay (https://webchat.freenode.net/?channels=#dashpay)

2. "start a conversation" link when you click a username in the left column.
Thanks, but not really an IRC person. Have enough going on in my life. I manage IT infrastructure for a group of hospitals.

Evan, any chances of little popup messages in the wallet like 'major fork please reindex' or 'testing for new version commencing' ?

What new, source english is from Mar 12th?
There are only old v.11.1 ver source, we are waiting new source, 2 weeks already.

Edit: After Vertoe left, transifex translations are not used.
Ahaa, now there are fresh source english.

Yup, old version number
Still old icon in title bar
Tools => Open Configuration File still not working (windows, haven't tried Linux)

And nobody must be mining, 'cause I just did setgenerate true and got a block within seconds. So please mine people :) Unless I'm on a fork right away... oh dear, probably likely...

Reindexing will try again in a few :)

Oh, I just thought of this question. Which conf file should have the line in it for donations? The remote wallet, without a balance, or the local wallet with the balance that accepts payments? Thanks!

Wow, just reindexed and it was real! I found a block within seconds of turning setgenerate to true! Time to go to Vegas baby!

I guess my hashing power is only 1:8 So, not so spectacular, still I just found another block. Is the hashing power around 482,000 hps? or am I on a fork?

And that's weird, the second block reward disappeared, strange. Yup, I'll save my money and stay at home... LOL

Not sure if this belongs in this thread. If it doesn't then my apologies. I went to http://http://paper.dashpay.io/ to create a new paper wallet that reflects Dash. I went to the Github repository to get a local version of the wallet generator and the version on Github still reflects the Darkcoin nomenclature. Will the paper wallet code on Github be updated any time soon?

What's the P2Pool URL for testnet? I'm going to try and get a few GPU miners on the network for a couple days. I think the fork was mainly because we have pretty much no mining happening and theirs someone mining with a couple CPU cores on a really old version that keeps forking off.
