check the tx you sent, I think 1000 tdrk is vout #1 and payout is vout #0

You got it - testnet is actually completely separate blockchain, the coins will never have any value.

And yes, you need to change back your darkcoin.conf for mainnet - but i would keep the instances in separate folders anyway (to dangerous to accidentically confuse tDRK and DRK)
 
Wow! Thanks for the help, this a better community than nxt. Could you send a fraction of a drk my way? I've been mining for god knows how long at 56kh/s at cpu-pool and still stuck at 0.01 DRK.. can't withdraw till 1 drk XopBwFpsgm6p8D1RKzTaAs9qYNWeQiMCwq

Testnet is a separate blockchain, with distinct coins (tDRK). These coins have no value and their only purpose is for testing. You can join the current testnet by downloading one of the most recent RC4 binaries, and putting a "testnet=1" line in the darkcoin.conf. You can also use the normal miners to mine testnet coins, or join a testnet pool.

Guys! We dont need 200MH on the testnet, we need small hashrates spread out among all the pools. Add 100 kh here, add 100 kh there and good we are!

Yep, mainnet is older, but testnet has seen more different CheckBlock() implementations and hard forks during its lifespan.

To test run a fresh copy of 0.9.12.0 against mainnet and see if it is capable to parse the mainnet blockchain...

Don't do that, it's counter-productive actually. People doing single thread cpu mining is totally fine and everyone gets their share to work with.
