It looks like the limit is more a soft limit rather than a hard limit. I set my wallet to 10k and it stopped at around 16k. Intention? The wallet seems to denominate funds regardless of "Amount of Darkcoin keep anonymized" option. Evan can you check it?
That one looks a little bit better - but wallet still got locked later in the process:I just pushed up a new version to address this. Try it out again
Same here...hmmm... v0.10.12.20-9-....
when I try to set number of rounds in options and click apply the number is reverted to "1"
Opps, I broke that fixing the Darksend Disabled checkbox. Fixed nowhmmm... v0.10.12.20-9-....

I changed the strategy of how the locking and unlocking works. If your anonymous balance is below "Keep anonymous Darkcoin amount" it'll stay unlocked till it reaches that level.Issued, locking again right away. I´d say denom work is *not* done, but wallet thinks differently:
Update:Code:2014-08-11 17:39:46 Darksend is complete, locking wallet. 2014-08-11 17:46:56 Darksend is complete, locking wallet. 2014-08-11 18:43:07 Darksend is complete, locking wallet. 2014-08-11 18:54:00 Darksend is complete, locking wallet. 2014-08-11 18:57:30 Darksend is complete, locking wallet. 2014-08-11 18:58:10 Darksend is complete, locking wallet. 2014-08-11 18:58:50 Darksend is complete, locking wallet. 2014-08-11 18:59:30 Darksend is complete, locking wallet.
Started again w. fresh wallet and 1000 tDRK - unfortunately same locking occurences:
Code:2014-08-11 19:31:11 Darksend is complete, locking wallet. 2014-08-11 19:40:57 Darksend is complete, locking wallet.
I'll see if I can recreate iteduffield my wallet is not denominating anymore after i sent a ds+ transaction.
what I did:
- set my wallet to denominate 10k drk through 8 rounds
- waited till i saw enough coins denominated (around 16k)
- sent 10k to defunctec using ds+
- now sitting on only 6k anon coins, shouldnt it start denominating again?
got 33k non-denominated coins available...
My linux wallet set 2k but now have 4.8k anonymized. The variation is too large IMO. It should be addressed or people will get confused. It looks like the limit is more a soft limit rather than a hard limit. I set my wallet to 10k and it stopped at around 16k. Intention?
So to clear up how this setting works. It's more of a lower boundary, whenever your client has more denominated inputs (of any amount of rounds) than that amount it switches into a mode that ONLY uses the denominated inputs. There's a better way to do this and it's on my list, but I figured this solution was better than the 5000DRK limit. It'll get within a few hundred, at most a thousand. My linux wallet set 2k but now have 4.8k anonymized. The variation is too large IMO. It should be addressed or people will get confused.
EDIT: My windows wallet set to 1500 and now over 2882 tDRK anonymized

No, it's just me learning that the crypto currency environment is very sensitive to information - even if they are drafted. Never mind :what:Oops. Did I make a mistake? :what:

I just started a fresh instance of v0.10.12.20-16-g72d197e-beta with 1k tDRK waiting to confirm now, so maybe that will help. Not mentioning any addresses this time since apparently people think it's funny to taint test cases. :tongue:Next time use codenames like Venkman, Ray and Egon, and have 'Crossing The Streams' and 'Marshmallow Cataclysm' as scheduled activities.
Latest wallet (linux) is struggling to DSify 1000DRK from the faucet, it's been trying (through 2 wallet updates) for about 6 hours.
Ha, wait until the trophy system gets overhauled.
