I used to use dstorms version till it went out of date, then vertoes till it went out of date, then the "official" one that is out of date & doesn't work correctly. Having to jump around from one repo to another in an effort to finding a correct & working version is just daft & both p2pool & dash suffers as a result. I & others have had to close my node because of this - I'm not worried, but it's bad organisation that harms the p2pool network & dash in general.

One repo that is kept up to date is all that is required to solve the problem.
I agree. I'm not even mining but trying to help out just a bit here. You are welcomed to help this project. We're open source and not a private company so that's a benefit that anyone who can code or organize the project, please feel free to jump in and help. And please pass your concerns to Evan by emailing him, [email protected]. :)

EDIT: Or, I guess his email is also [email protected] now.

I'm no coder I'm afraid, so wouldn't be of any help. I just like to mine dash with p2pool.

And the p2pool tracker is also no longer functional

We are trying to get the official p2pool-dash repo up to date. We have a pull request waiting for eduffield to accept here: https://github.com/dashpay/p2pool-dash/pull/10.
This pull request contains all the fixes/updates needed.

Until that happens, the most up to date repo is: https://github.com/jakehaas/p2pool-dash, where that pull request originated from.
"evans82 merged 25 commits into dashpay:master from jakehaas:master26 minutes ago"
https://github.com/dashpay/p2pool-dash/pull/10#event-279890721

It's official! Congratz! :)

I've been maintaining a fork of Vertoe's copy of p2pool-dark (dash) and submitted a pull request which was completed several days ago. I've kept it updated with All the changes made thus far. Also I have working copies of the dash_hash and dash_subsidy projects which are not yet up on GitHub. I'm happy to see that evans82 just merged the pull for his version too.

Probably jakehaas can discuss with you about this.

sweet work people. Do we need an official shout out on BTCtalk to encourage p2pool operators to all update?

We need to increase attention to p2pool.
People can mine with low latency on localhost and without any fee.
P2Pool has no center => this is good for the network.

Need to write guides. And to make use of p2pool prostnym, in just one click.
I wrote two manual for Russian community.

For windows users, we can do P2Pool just in one click. Watch this video.

Jakehaas let them know about the update a few days ago, but by all means, please do it again.

Poiuty, thanks for your guilds. I think that I followed everything on the Windows version. I received invalid argument with '--net dash' any idea where I went wrong?
