Universal Dividend and Web of Trust for Dash (v2)

Would you like a Universal Dividend and/or/xor a Web of Trust to be incorporated in Dash?

The original thread was locked, so I repost this thread, in order for the discussion to be continued, and most importantly, in order for the vote to be continued.

This is just a question.

Universal Dividend means that everyone who owns a dash wallet, he gets a basic income just for beeing a member of the community. This basic income could be from 0 dashcoins to total_dashcoins/members, and this could be a subject to vote.

In order to give a basic income, of course a Web of Trust is needed. Because we have to distinguish dash members that are real persons, and not alternative accounts.

So what do you think about it?

The problem is, dash is not suited for this kind of thing and certainly can not compete on income. We'd get eaten alive trying to compete on ROI or APR. Just look at Ryan's failed attempt to increase the masternode count.

From all these income streams, whether it's masternode rewards or staking in general, "investors" invariably spend a portion of their income buying bitcoin, knowing full well that trying to earn bitcoin is a much harder affair. In other words, all these staking options amount to "easy money".

I think we should do the opposite, though to what amount I'm not sure. I think we should setup a proposal to burn, say, 5 million dash via a hardfork. "Burn" is not the right word because it would never be created but you know what I mean, to dramatically decrease the total supply.

Thats what the web of trust/ proof of individuality is ment for.
We will know which members sell their dash to another coin, then decide to reduce their basic income.

The basic income will be a subject to vote. A "vote the numbers" vote.
So it could also be 0 dash for everyone (meaning no basic income at all), in case we decide that.

Burn some millions of dash? I agree. Lets "vote the numbers" for that too.

16413 human profiles have been created until now, and they already receive their universal dividend.
For example in this profile you can see what dividend the person received (4.2921 UBI until now), and his web of trust ( "Vouched by:" "Vouched for:")

Unfortunately the method of the UBI token is against anonymity. So their UBI army can be spotted by the agents.

Whenever you use rude and offensive language like this from one of your previous posts : ''AND WHAT ABOUT DASH's BASIC INCOME, YOU STUPID MASTERNODES ?'' you lose my attention. Ironically you have now become a masternode owner yourself, so i guess you thought if i can't fight them i will join them ?
Hopefully that kind of language will not be used anymore by you, as it does not promote discussion. As you can see in this thread.

Whenever you use 'the agents' you will also lose my attention. There is something about you frequently using those words, that just makes you come across as a bit paranoid to me.

With regards to the poll, i voted no on it.
No on Universal Dividend based on just owning a dash wallet.
No on Web of Trust, because i like Dash to remain Trustless as much as possible.

I am not a masternode owner. I hold a masternode vote.
Your vote has been recorded. You will be judged for the votes you casted, and for the polls you ignored.

Dash can remain trustless, if this proof of individuality is implemented.

I vote "lets vote the numbers". Part of the Dash's budget should be allocated to the Universal Dividend experiment. Lets vote the numbers on how much this part should be.

The agents are everywhere, they want you to fail, and you will. They are visible, and invisible ones.

Judged by who ? The Crypto Gods ? By you ? By the Dash community ?
Again this does not encourage discussion, when you tell those that participate in this poll that they will be 'judged'.
Maybe you don't want discussion ? Maybe you just want a discussion with yourself ?

Anyways, good thing i already publicly informed everyone how i voted on your poll and why, as i noticed the public nature of the votes before i decided to vote.

By God and by the Dash community. And by the market too....

I am in a forum, so I obviously want discussion.

ok.

This 1 year old poll has very little actual votes (6 to be precise) and very little discussion from other Dash community members.
So here is a poll just for you : why do you think there is so little actual voting and discussion on this topic ?

A : due to the publicly visible voting nature of this poll
B : due to the topic itself not attracting much interest
C : due to this public forum not attracting enough visitors
D : due to the agents

Please be informed your voting will be recorded on this forum and you will be judged by God and the Dash community for the votes you casted and for the
poll results you chose to ignore.

I think is C.
The original Universal Dividend thread has 48k views, and (although currently locked) it remains the 7th most popular thread and the 4th most popular non sticky thread in the general discussion of this forum (sort by views to discover it). Also the original Universal Dividend thread had a wide participation in its poll (58 votes were casted until it was locked). I think it is the third most popular poll in the forum (the locked logo poll is the first with 76 votes, and the unlocked "compel the core team to anonymize" poll is the second with 72 votes), having the locked vote the numbers poll following it with 57 votes.

Put also the E and the F options in your poll (never forget to put the "other" option in your polls).
E: due to the stupidity of the masternodes.
F: other

Please be informed your voting will be recorded on this forum and you will be judged by God and the Dash community for the votes you casted and for the
poll results you chose to ignore.
You will be judged both for your votes, and for the poll results you ignored, and for the polls you ignored (didnt vote on them).
You will be judged by God, by the Dash community and by the market.

I guess this forum lost the attention of a lot of viewers over the years, i suspect most people switched to the two Dash discord channels.
Here is hoping we (as in all of us) can grab back some of that attention.

The reason people switched to discord was the censorship that was practiced in this forum, once upon times. They left due to censorship, now they are accustomed to the discord enviromnent and the dont come back.

But of course another reason we have no participation is because many members of the Dash community left the community, due to the stupid government decisions of the masternodes. And this affects both this forum, and the dash discord channels.

The universal dividend that the UBI token offers is trusted by (and it is the base of) kleros. Kleros is currently Rank #578 in coinmarket cap. Soon Kleros may also overcome Dash, like so many others cryptos did since dash was rank #6. Of course the disadvatage of Kleros is that is it based on Ethereum, and if it will fail it will be due to the high cost of ethereum gas.

Many applications are based on a proof of individuality combined to a universal dividend. And too much stupidity is concentrated to the Dash masternodes, for keep refusing to implement some obviously succesful systems (based on a dividend) that can certainly boost dash and make it #6 again.
