Can we add this information to the release post/notes? If any feature (like donations) is removed, it should be clear and obvious.

There are plenty of other features that have been added that would be helpful to put in the release notes. Maybe this is a a list on github that each developer updates as they complete instead of Evan trying to put it in a single post. I am listing some great features not in the release post below. It is ok to show off all the effort put into each release! :)
    • Masternode.conf is created automatically and if existing, the donation columns are ignored.
    • Masternode inputs are locked automatically.
    • GUI Wallet repair tools
    • Specific Spork, Masternode, etc update bars to ensure instanTX and darksend(privaTX) capability.
    • Selectable interface themes.

Thanks. It looks like it used my old masternode.conf file without problems.

This is a huge release that took the devs several months to get it all together. It also took testers many hours to test... I know it's frustrating not to have all of the info in one place.. but I passed on your suggestion to the dev team, and I'm waiting to see what we can do.

So - no more: start-many? or just no more donations setups in masternode.conf??

In a production environment any features removed can cause big problems - even if they seem minor. Just pointing out that this is critical to put in release notes.

Not frustrated at all. This is an awesome release. Show it off!

Where can I find information about the dash-cli? The dash-cli seems the same as dashd...

    No, it is not.

    dashd - dash daemon process
    dash-cli - dash RPC client

Dash 0.11 only had dashd, as it contained both functionalities (daemon + rpc client)
Dash 0.12 split this into separate binaries (same als Bitcoin 0.10 btw)

I noticed some of my MN:s CPU usage is about 10%, but others is hogging about 80-90%.

And debug.log can be quite huge, i found one is 60 Gig:eek:
I bet CPU hogging is cause because of that debug.log writing.

Don't know if it's from BOOST_FOREACH doing the dseep looping, maybe wait/sleep has to be in there?

On the DS issue someone was having, with no darksend mix, I noticed that if you go to "Send" click darksend, then check inputs you want to use, darksend disabled.
If you check inputs, THEN click darksend, your fee becomes whatever you dont send.

I havent actually tried sending to see what really happens, maybe back to testnet...

    Code:
    -sh-4.2$ dash-cli masternodelist full | grep 70102 | wc -l
    46
    -sh-4.2$ dash-cli masternodelist full | grep 70103 | wc -l
    138

number of MNs running the wrong version, might be relaying the dsee spam (bug from testnet?)

How do you unlock locked inputs in the wallet?

Edit: meant "inputs", sorry, long night :).

    set masternode=0 in dash.conf , no?

BTW, my mainnet masternodes are off until the next version. If anyone knows that a new version won't be coming for a while, please let me know and I'll go back to v11

On the Coin Control, right-click on the input and select "Unlock unspent".

    ./dash-cli help

Pablo, surely you mean inputs? In coin control, right click on the locked ones, and unlock

So using v0.12.0.44-61223ed (64-bit), I started from scratch - deleted everything except dash.conf (including wallet.dat).
I then start dash-qt with -reindex option, but it's stuck @ synchronizing budgets... (1 hour behind).

Why does the new code backup the wallet automatically? It is scary to find out that my wallet.dat is automatically backup every time I run the client. What if some attacker finds it when I thought I removed my wallet from the system? It also gives me a fatal error when I tried to create a new wallet by deleting the old wallet.dat followed by running the client.

Yes, I had tried the bootstrap to speed things up (a bit), but that doesn't help with 1 hour behind budget.
