Odd. So these are the addresses in the wallet. Then the second picture is the addresses coin control recognizes.

Listaccounts returns this:

"0" : 1000.00000000,
"Anonymized?" : 8000.00000000,

Is the issue that there are not enough masternodes in the testnet? Or that they haven't updated yet?
At the moment it seems that there are only 23 live testnet MN's. My wallet hasn't anonymized any funds whatsoever as of yet. (and the coin control thing)

Hi flare,
Thank you for the latest windows wallet version from your site bamboo.darkcoin.qa/artifact/DWD-DRKRC/QTL/build-20/gitian-win-darkcoin-rc-darkcoin-qt-bin/32/darkcoin-qt.exe, but Darksend keeps giving error messages, yet the wallet keeps denominating -0.001.

Using the Windows version of 0.10.12.14 now, started denomination instantly. Masternode count does not affect speed of denomination, as you need only one to mix the coins.

EDIT:
23 should be more than enough...
This!

I would hope that a single MN would be able to easily cope with every transaction on testnet, for the system to scale to the real world with a theoretical max of 4000 odd MNs and millions of tx's per day.

Edit - maybe just one person should run a MN on the next release and the rest of us try to hammer it with transactions etc...? Let's see what punishment a crappy Amazon micro instance can take...

What kind of errors? Can you please provide logs/screenshots? Thanks!

No, first round started automatically.

A new password prompt appeared moments ago, although it did not lead to a new (visible) transaction. Will give it a few more minutes.
If this is ecpected behavior, I can only say it´s not too comfortable to sit there and babysit the client for potential password prompts

May I suggest that there be added in the GUI a visible notification of what the wallet is currently doing? Especially if funds are being denominated and you shouldn't close/disconnect your wallet. People are going to be very confused as it is, we need to make it clear what the wallet is doing at all times, in an easy to understand way.

Thank you thelonecrouton, I'll probably try it the easiest way, just upload new darkcoind, first. I'm lazy ;P If it works, great, if not... eh, back to work, LOL

You're right, this is all going to confuse the hell out of the attention-span-of-a-goldfish masses, maybe it could be made more obvious what's going on and why.

And if whole balances are getting re-anonanised regularly, maybe the fees need to be though about some more?

I'm starting to think that the way DS+ works is so fundamentally different to 'traditional' coins that the whole approach to the wallet needs a rethink.

Agree, i was messing first time with Win DS+ wallet, and i was completely confused,
no clue what i have to do or what wallet was doing. Managed send only regular non anon funds, DS+ didnt work.

Maybe we should start a bounty for best ideas of how to make it intuitive and usable for Average Joe - maybe even something radical. And then for the advanced users there would be the list of inputs etc and what not.

I think that on going new wallet look is critical in this matter.

EDIT:
Maybe wallet need 2 different modes, NORMAL and DARKSEND+,
and user chooses what mode he/she want use at that moment.

To avoid seeing -0,001, -0,01 etc numerous times, can the DS+ costs (if autodenomin') be wrapped in one single amount ?
To avoid many password prompts, can it be enter one time and stays valid for the 'predetermined-number' of rounds ?

Hi flare,

My wallet is denominating fine

I guess you are referring to the errors on the darksend Button:

button.PNG

"ERROR: entries is full" and "ERROR : Signing timed out, please resubmit"

This is currently being addressed by Evan and will be fixed in 0.10.12.15

Hi flare,
My errors said there was not sufficient funds but I had plenty of tDRK. Sorry I didn't take any pictures. Then I tried again by sending 300 tDRK to someone and the coins went through but my wallet kept getting denominated and it had one Collateral payment. Right now I am trying to start a fresh wallet and will do the testing again. Will keep you updated. Thanks.

It took about 3 hours to denominate 3000tDRK. However, no collateral fees and smooth denomination. (Windows version)
Now I'm playing with 200tDRK.

question about testing the windows wallet 10.12.14 on testnet :
When i'm testing it on 1000 Darkcoins from the test faucet i always end up with
an Anonymized amount of 999.00000023 instead of 999.998 (-0.002 for the fees
of using the standard 2 rounds of Anonymizing).
Have more ppl testing RC4 on testnet seen this?

I cant mention links in here as i have just opened this account .. but i made screenshots through imgur.

Edit : found an answer on bitcointalk forum :

Works as designed: His 1000 DRK were anonymized into 23 denominations --> 999.00000023
This is also the largest amount he can get anonymized out of 1000 DRK, as denomination takes at least 1.1 DRK (1 DRK + 0.1 DRK). So his 0.997999977 un-denominated funds are not qualified for further denomination
wink.gif

Edit 2 :
i think there is a bug with using coin control, specifically when bundling anonymized amounts with non-anonymized amounts through DarkSend set to 'no preference' .. it creates collateral payments

To prove this : create new empty wallet, sent 1000 darkcoins there from test faucet, wait till it get anonymized to 999.00000023, use coin control, bundle all amounts, set DarkSend to 'No Preference' and sent it to yr own wallet ---> creates collateral payments
