Details of my recent (and exceptionally successful) Wildcard meet-up are posted here.

My extended family have begun to become very interested in Dash, so I thought of hosting a meet-up for them on Friday. Probably approx 10 new people. Is it OK to do a meet-up with my family so soon after the my last meet-up? (None of them have ever attended a Dash meet-up before.)

The crowd of noobs would include a civil engineer, a sysadmin, a teacher, an estate agent, an offshore investment consultant, and others.

Looks like you had a blast!!!

When it comes to meet-ups we encourage you to have different people involved.

You can host a meet up with the same people but you will not qualify to participate in the Meet up program.

Moroccan dash team make the first meet up .

We were five person and I explained to them what's blockchain , which are cryptocurrencies ,

what is Dash digital cash and all the good things For example mining, masternodes, transactions, security .

And i installed to them Dash wallets and i gave them whitepaper of dash and i sent $ 10 to each one .

Everyone was very happy and eager to follow and learn more from Dash .

Location: Wonking Dead at "El DECK" in Cancun, Mexico.
Date: september 18th, 2017

We are expecting from 15 to 20 attendees

We will have a Dash Wonkingdead Special, every person that buys the DASH WonkingDead Special and downloads a digital Wallet, will receive $8 USD in DASH. After receiving the DASH, they will pay me $4 USD in DASH, so they will keep only $4 USD in DASH in their Wallets (Giveaway is under $5USD)

I think if we want people to use DASH as Digital Cash, they have to receive and buy stuff with DASH, so they can understand what is DASH.

We will have 20 Dash Wonkingdead Special, it wil cost like $8 USD. All the Dashtecas attendes will buy $8 USD in DASH and will pay only $4 USD (with DASH) and will keep the other $4USD in their Wallet.

Wonking Dead will receive 50 % ($4 USD) with DASH and the other 50% ($4 USD) with fiat. If they want I can buy them the half of their DASHES, so they will receive 75% with fiat and 25% with DASH (They need liquidity so they can buy their stuffs for the next day)

I hosted a remarkable wildcard meet-up. Necessity is the mother of invention. I called it the "The Money-go-round Dash Meetup". The results were amazing. Actually, I was looking for comments on this Channel; not on the blog. I'd appreciate comments there too, but I really just wanted to hear what people thought about the money-go-round meetup. What do people think of the idea?

Report of DASH Nigeria Meetup

We had 22 people in attendance.

2 of the participants already knew about Dash. One had Coinomi wallet and another Jaxx wallet. The other 19 persons (excluding myself) were new to Dash.

15 of them installed Dash app on their phones.

I gave out $10 to the first 8 persons who installed Dash.

I promised to tip the other 7 as the network connection was poor and not all of them finished installing. They promised to send in their addresses.

Also, 3 of them showed high enthusiasm and I’d be sending them invites to join us here shortly.

A friend from Guinea Conakry also got interested in Dash. I sent him some links to articles on Dash. He’s promised to download the wallet and join us on slack soon.

After this event, I had a meetup with two other people the following day who then downloaded the DASH wallet.

I look forward to seeing everyone that we talked about in DM!

DASH Nigeria Meetup II

We had 24 participants!! This made me get a bigger hall to accommodate the participants.

All the participants were new to DASH and I took them through a lecture of 23 minutes, then we had questions and answers session, this was followed by a practical session on how to backup a wallet, send and receive money, etc, then the participants did a shout out saying "DASH IS GOOD".

Videos of the sessions above have been uploaded on YouTube but I'm not yet enabled to post links here.

They all downloaded wallets and I sent $10 to 7 participants, and $5 to 9 of them. I didn't have enough to go round as I emptied my wallet while tipping them and I promised to send the rest some few dollars as they dropped their addresses with me.

I believe in #DASH4Africa and #Africa4DASH

We only had 9 attendes because it began to rain. I will post the pictures tomorrow, with the earhtquake in Mexico I forgot to post them, I was planning to repeat the Meeting but I donated the DASH to the earthquake victims
I wan´t to do a DASH talk in a High School, I´ll use the school auditorium, I can have 100 students. Is it ok? What do you recomend me?

This month wasn't as well attended, I tried a new advertising strategy on Facebook. Previously I ran the advert for a week so this time I tried fewer days with a higher budget per day. The event got a burst of interest but not the repeated impressions that drive attendance.

My feeling is that a slow burn is better, so I'll be going the other way and running adverts for two weeks for the next event.

In addition the weather was really miserable, with heavy rain and high winds. But for the three people who did show up it was 2 hours of in-depth discussion, answering their questions and going through the practical are steps of how to buy Dash in the UK.

We only had 10 attendees because after 20 min. of Kickoff it began to rain and there is no roof in the foodtruck park "El DECK". We had to run to our cars and go it was a hevay rain. I couldn´t take much pictures because of the rain.

We gave $8 USD aprox. to the attendees that bought on of the DASH Wokingdead Specials, after they recieved their DASH they had to pay the half of the Dash that they received. So they received DASH, paid with DASH and kept $4USD in their DASH wallets.
