Darkcoin Chinese exchanges adoption initiative

Hi all,

I have been corresponding with Chinese exchanges and asking them about the possibility of adding Darkcoin.

So far got a reply from OKCoin and BTC38.com. Probably it is a coincident but OkCoin CTO Changpeng Zhao also started to follow me on twitter.

As you can also see from the below email OKCoin seems positive towards adding Darkcoin but they are concerned about volatility. Should someone from dev team write them back and perhaps assure them that we are totally alright about volatility as long they they agree to add Darkcoin trading? ;)

I wrote them about a month ago and they said they are doing research about Darkcoin. I followed up today to find out their latest position but it is still night in China. Will update as soon as I get a reply.

Minotaur was in contact with OKCOIN a few weeks ago. They said they'd keep an eye on us. At the moment we have a very low liquidity, so it is difficult decision to take by any exchange. Some more requests can only help!

I was also followed by their CTO, he's really doing his homework :)

With BTC38.com, I chose a bit different strategy. I tried to show them/remind them that their rival exchnage is enjoying the monopoly of Darkcoin trading in China ;)

" Hi,

Another idea in progress is about US expansion.

I found this mailing list of the National Indian Gaming Commission which covers more than a hundred Native American Casinos in almost all US States. I am planning to email them and introduce myself as their potential client and ask them if they would like to accept Darkcoin. And then give some brief info about Darkcoin and direct them to a link in case they are interested to find out more. Here is the list, if you wanna help out feel free write them:

EDIT: Emailed to more than 350 persons which is the entire North American tribal Gaming community. Some of the emails bounced back but the rest went through I think. Haven't had time to check replies yet. Will do over the weekend.

okcoin is very active on Twitter
they followed me too

in China the whole hype start over the local chat rooms, groups
they are very powerful and have gzillion of followers, we just need a local kid to post for us ! sounds easier then done, I looked around already but still have not found anybody local who can help out or take on that job .

I'm also in the Following club of OKCOIN. tungfa, Raico is working tirelessly to promote Darkcoin in China. Set up a conversation with him.

This is great to see. Please continue to try and make noise with people and exchanges. They won't be able to ignore us for long!

How about you discuss this issue with the Chinese guy who accidentally received 81 drk from me as a mining fee? He is a masternode owner and his BCT username is happylyc83 By simply sharing his experience about getting 160$ over night would draw some attention to Darkcoin in Chinese forums :)

I wrote him message way back when he got my darkcoins but unfortunately he is not too active on forums :-/

Did anyone ever trade on BTER?
In particular, are there specific requirements to be able to trade with CNY?

Maybe bringing some volume to the CNY/DRK pair could do some good...

I just came across this thread. What DRK business are you guys interested in doing in China? Is getting an exchange to include DRK the only thing you want atm?

It has more to do with China being one of the largest economies and in to crypto. If the Chinese can't freely exchange their CNY for DRK, it's moot trying to establish any sort of good or service there taking it.

Do you have a link to that TV News? I read the news that most major exchanges are/were moving off-shore to prevent any legal issue. So, for that matter, state run TV News may not matter that much for people who are already trading BTC or LTC.
