I had the same question and found this post on doing donations with a multi masternode config.
https://github.com/darkcoin/darkcoin/blob/master/doc/masternode_conf.md
And this is the link to setup multiple masternodes from one wallet.
https://dashtalk.org/threads/reuben...rnodes-from-one-wallet-guide-start-many.4034/
Thanks but this doesn't really help me, I don't understand? I have one masternode, not multiple. I want to donate a portion of my rewards to the developers. Like I've said i looked for a post or explanation about how to do this, all over the forums, and I CAN NOT find it. I know these guys are busy, I know we're all busy, but someone is trying to donate money, it might be a good idea to show that person HOW to do it.

*edit* Especially when that person is going to write a formal guide and make a how to video to go along with it, which would make future explanations easy for everyone.

Ok, but there is need to be clear page/message about donations to: Developers and Foundation general use for example.
Thanks for the help everyone, just gonna wait till the devs make it an automatic thing (if that is happening in the future). Not really trying to fk my masternode up with the wrong configurations.

Yep, that would be optimal, automatic 5% donation per masternode, you answer simple yes or no.

I think it's really important to get the donations working. We all talk about how the developers need to get paid, etc, and I completely agree. They work their asses off, and that is why I am trying to donate. I feel like developers will be missing out on donations until there's an easy way to do it automatically. Masternode blinding is important, paying the people who are writing the code for masternode blinding is more important. So....

Hard to really say anymore... with the masternode donations, one could "donate" all their earnings to any address they want, including their own.

In console type: masternode list donation Xo4R, and you'll see:

{
"5.9.240.130:9999" : "Xo4RRE5rU7HK4t3Lum8fzF63P4QTrV5nVt:100",

Look up the first IP 5.9.240.130 and you'll see the MNs that author these payments:

Click on "Guesstimated Wallet: 68 addresses" and you'll see all of their 8 MNs here:

Thanks for this moli.

Btw, does anyone else think that it is about time (maybe after MN blinding hits mainnet) that Evan and the other devs step back from coding for a few weeks and carefully document the current state of the features of the coin? Right now, if you don't follow the development religiously (or enjoy reading line after line of code) you have next to no idea how things currently work. Take the white paper on Darksend or the KA security audit for example. Things have drastically improved since then, but since this hasn't been documented those who are not hardcore supporters don't realize that fact. The confusion over the donations is just another example of the effect of a lack of documentation.

In short, I think it is time to take documentation more seriously so that the general level of confusion related to the current feature set is reduced.

Thoughts?

My sneaky method: I've followed Udjin's posts... I even made a bookmark for some of his posts because of all the devs he likes to explain things the most. I bookmarked some of flare's posts also. How I could find this donation stuff is from Udjin's post here:

*********** Please Update To 11.2.22! ****************

- DS Speed Improvements : Darksend should be lightning fast now on mainnet. We're going to delay the implementation of masternode blinding because there's two separate mobile wallets that are in the process of implementing Darksend and the reference implementation needs to be super stable during this period of time. Once we have the mobile wallets done (which should have Darksend and InstantX support) we can move back to improving Darksend.
- DS Max Rounds is now 8, which is more than enough for anyone. If someone wants more security, they can use the parameter which goes up to 16.
- Fixed Chinese Translations
- Masternode voting should now work properly. Masternode operators can copy their masternode.conf to another computer and vote without having their wallets online now.

A bad name for the directory dash-v0.11.2.22-linux in tar.gz. In previous versions it was without the char 'v'.
It's a problem for the automatic update.

Is this a new naming convention or is it a fluke (i.e. lack of convention)?

Is this a protocol update? Require a cold start? My MNs fell off the list...I only updated remote side though. Would be nice if it was a standard to state whether or not the updates require a cold start instead of having to guess...

The new wallet is looking really slick. Minor critique on the Overview tab. The word DASH in available balance gets truncated once you reach 10,000 DASH. My goal of course is to have enough DASH that I only see the D, but I'm sure the wallet will be updated before I reach 1,000,000 DASH.

Errors like this one or almost always accidental line-breaks in the translation...it needs to be fixed there.

( BTW, it's additionally different under different operating systems, so it may look perfectly good under Windows but break under OSX or Linux)
