    Dash Bug Bounty Program

The Dash Bug Bounty Program is scheduled to launch privately on the Bugcrowd platform on August 8, and we are planning to launch publicly approximately two weeks after that. Previously we had planned on running the program privately for at least a month, but after discussion with the Bugcrowd...

    Los Angeles Dash Cryptocurrency Users

Hi @DashDude I'm pretty sucky at the whole meetup thing. I don't do any marketing outside of this forum. Basically I just show up at the same place, same time every week and announce it here. Also 7:30am is not a good time for a lot of people. So, pretty much if you do the opposite of what I...

Yesterday a press release went out announcing the Dash Bug Bounty Program. Here are some places where it has been picked up: https://www.crowdfundinsider.com/2017/08/120205-dash-teams-bugcrowd-cybersecurity-services/...

Pre-Proposal: Would you like this proof of individuality to be implemented in Dash?

What prevents someone from attending several crypto parties, thus creating several "individuals"?

Karma - Charity Fund Sponsored by Dash Treasury

How would you select the charities that receive the funds? The principle is sound; the devil is in the details. Rather than throw Dash at a charity arbitrarily, we should do it strategically. Any thoughts on that?

    wallet unsync after encrypt

Every time you start up the wallet it has to sync, but it shouldn't be taking as long as it did when you first installed the wallet. It does take a couple minutes.

DASH PrivateSent mentioned in BTC-e case

Legal risk to who? I'm just offering my ill-informed opinion, but I think the risk would be to any business that could be defined as a "money transfer" business, especially those nearest to fiat exchange. My personal opinion is that every government or taxing authority will always be hostile...

    Pre-proposal: DASH PrivateSend De-Anonymization Contest

I think rather than funding a contest, we should fund a blockchain forensic analysis. There are companies out there whose job it is to de-anonymize bitcoin transactions. We should hire one to use their techniques to analyze Dash. Arguably, we could leverage the Dash Bug Bounty program for...

    Proposal: Circus City Sponsorship

Nice! Great positioning of the Dash logo -- it pops by itself on the screen, and isn't imposing on the message. Well done!

pre-proposal DashStudio: Hollywood production of Dash Intro video

It looks like this proposal is going down to defeat. I attribute it to the lack of detail in the proposal about the content of the video. That's fair.

    Proposal: Circus City Sponsorship

You're doing a fantastic job with with project -- keep up the good work! I'm particularly interested in the documentary component of this project. Is any planning happening on that front?

    Security of mobile wallets

In the video below, Andreas Antonopoulos recommends using a mobile wallet to secure large amounts of crypto currency -- he says a phone is more secure than any laptop/desktop, and second best only to a hardware wallet. I've seen it said often in this forum that phones are not a secure place to...

should people with multiple masternodes receive an economical incentive to always only vote once?

THAT'S and really good idea I hadn't thought of! Thanks! Ahh, now I understand what you guys are talking about. I'll have to think about it.

should people with multiple masternodes receive an economical incentive to always only vote once?

@Pietro Speroni and @demo Can what you guys are proposing be modeled something like an open company with something like shareholders (collective decision makers)? For example, let's use DashIncubator (https://d-msg.com/dashincubator) as an example. At DashIncubator, project leaders submit...

    Security of "Average Joe" Wallet

Different people have different threat profiles and different use cases. Nobody should be "forced" to do anything. Core's primary responsibility is to secure the network and the protocol for wallet functionality. Once that is done, then the market (including open source projects) can provide...
