V12 Testing Thread

I've updated my testing instance to 12.0.3 faucet, block explorer, et all.

I just did that myself, except the wallet.dat, about a couple of hours ago. Anyway, interesting that as I sit here and look at it, I got two payments as a masternode at 18:30 and 18:45 (it's now 19:35). I'm now attempting to send a coin with DS and IX, but got the very high fee notice though that estimate fee thingy is gone. I restarted but still get the error. I tried IX alone and IX didn't work. 0 confirmations

I just tried sending you some, coingun, but IX didn't work again :(

Status: 0/confirmed (InstantX verification in progress - 11 of 20 signatures ), broadcast through 18 node(s)

Edit: The IX worked, just took longer than usual - or used to. They've all got checkmarks now, much earlier than they otherwise would have.

I haven't seen the "excessive fee" in this version.

Same here. I'm going to post a screenshot again and hopefully we can get the devs' attention, if not already... lol.

Actually we can't make a regular DS transaction from this screen, it keeps saying there's not enough money when there is. Unless we have to go into the Coin Control and specifically check off the amounts we want to send, we can't use Darksend! Here's a screenshot:

Also, Darksend mixing is very slow. I'm not sure it's because of the locked inputs that hold up the mixing but DS is very slow. One of my wallets got only one round on some inputs for more than 5 hours, that is too slow!

Before installing the latest version, I transferred all my coins to another wallet, deleted the wallet.dat, got a fresh wallet.dat with the new install. I don't know if we need to do this but I went ahead and did it. So far I haven't got any "excessive fees", did a few InstantX transactions and they were all successful. I might get a failed IX next, but IX seems better in this version.
 
8 attempts out 10 for instantX were a success and had 3 masternode payments of 13.9 tdash in the last 14 hours ...

Hi, Can someone pls ELi5 how the reference node is replaced? Can it be that the same MN might keep getting selected to be the reference node?

I'm confused. I deleted my wallet.dat file and sent a new wallet 1000 coins. I did masternode debug, just to see what's up, and it said masternode started. However I never started it!

On the other hand, I just remembered that I forgot to change the masternode private key.

Anyway, I've gotten a payment so I know it works. Still, it's a little weird. I guess my wallet wasn't off line long enough? But I thought I had an empty wallet up longer than an hour? Maybe I'm wrong about that, too much going on around here and I lose track.... :p
 
Updated all testnet nodes on dashninja to v0.12.0.3-511b11a (Deleting all dats but wallet and blockchain).

Don't know if related but I have a lot of debug.log errors:
CDarksendPool::UpdateState() - Can't set state to ERROR or SUCCESS as a Masternode.
 
i'd love to Flare, but im on holiday atm. I can reach my PI from the campsite im at @ France but im not bothered to tamper with it atm. Wifi on a campsite = blah

Next week ill look at it.
 
With v0.12.0.3 the denominations on my 5 wallets goes like creazy !!! :)
