If I am the only person mining I did power down for a while to squeeze an extra 0.5 out of my GPU....
Thx flare, i use "setgenerate true 1" for one CPU. just wait and see how long it's take to mine one block (1 hour, 1 day or 1 week ?)Just put "setgenerate true" in your debug console, it will use the built in miner![]()
sent 5000 - due to base58 encoding testnet addresses either start with n or mIf somebody could send 200 to mxomigzggXJYqQfVUnV7mYPZUmmU3AFBHj I'd be appreciative.
Am I correct in thinking that all testnet addresses should begin with an m?
Because the first address in this fresh QT install is
n3q9i5p93U9tuC7AC6CH8UxZ6qjyyARgPV
Depends on hashrate - stonehedge is mining with 2MH/s if your cpu is doing 200kH/s you will get 10% of all blocks, so one block each 25minsThx flare, i use "setgenerate true 1" for one CPU. just wait and see how long it's take to mine one block (1 hour, 1 day or 1 week ?)
10 khash/s, not sure im realy helpDepends on hashrate - stonehedge is mining with 2MH/s if your cpu is doing 200kH/s you will get 10% of all blocks, so one block each 25mins![]()
Try it with 15.3, let's test enforcement! (My 15.3 client refused to solo mine at all.)Just out of interest, if I pointed 500Mh/s at testnet and I mined every block...what would happen? Would I just ruin it for everybody?
cool, just find gethashespersec, but your command is better, "getmininginfo"getminininginfo
it my own physical test servers with multi VM on it. with better setgenerate, Evan can creat ASIC with masternode (my dream)Just be careful if you're using a VPS provider that charges for bursting CPU usage! I was running at 300% CPU util on an AWS C3.xxlarge when I tried that. Obviously wouldn't get charged extra but I assume you would do on a T2.micro. Personally, I'd rather see mining and masternodes seperate for now...until there is a better solution than setgenerate...
Evan have to find the way to eliminate bad actor (miner side) and do the most greenIT as posible.I think the perfect solution would remove the need for mining at all. I'll leave that one for the visionaries to think about
Loving 70040. I'm not a regular tester but this feels like a nice big step up.
"networkhashps" : 7008141Difficulty is rising...
I also directed 25 khash/s on testnetDifficulty is rising...
You are free to do soIts taking forever for blocks to confirm...are you sure I shouldn't point 15Mh/s to testnet flare ?
