NOOOOOOOOO. It is a known scam. If you don't want to use Core use Electrum or Android or whatever, but dash-wallet will never give your funds back.
Dash Core is mostly for 1) devs 2) masternoders 3) enthusiasts 4) paranoids 
For simple receive and send operation Electrum Dash should be just fine - it's a relatively safe ("safe" because seed phrase allows you to recover your keys but "relatively" because to send/receive you rely on Electrum Dash servers which is not suitable for paranoids:grin and an easy way (no need to sync the whole blockchain, not that much options to do smth wrong).
