Dash Core Linux 64 Bit - Wallet Recovery similar to Electrum wallets?

Hello,

Not sure If we want to use the Electrum Dash wallet or the Dash Core Linux 64 Bit wallet.

1. Does Dash Core wallet support wallet recovery with 12 word phrase like Electrum does?

2. What are the pros and cons of Electrum Dash wallet versus the Dash Core wallet?

Thank you and Merry XMas Eve Eve,

J

3. Anybody now where you can find the developer public keys to use for verifying signatures of these wallet downloads?

Hi there and Merry Christmas!
  1. Dash Core has experimental HD wallet support for recovery from seed phrases. This will likely be considered stable in the next version. There are threads on the forum to help you try out this new feature.
  2. Electrum does not currently support PrivateSend or InstantSend, but it is also faster to get started because you don't need to download the full blockchain. You need to decide what wallet suits your purposes best - a hardware wallet like Trezor or even waiting for release of the Dash Copay wallet might be best. A new version of Electrum will also be released very soon, there is a thread on the forum where you can vote for which features should be included next. InstantSend is top of the list.
  3. Different developers sign different wallets. The SHA256 hashes for binary files are available on the download page. I believe flare currently signs Dash Core - https://keybase.io/schinzelh
