Dear Dash Community Members,

I would like to kindly invite you to DCG Q4 summary call, during which the team will provide you with the recent updates about the technology, business development, and other delivery team efforts towards Dash network growth.
We have prepared a detailed report of the progress made during Q4 2019, company achievements and challenges we have faced during the last quarter.

The call will take place on Thursday, the 30th of January 2020 at 16:00 UTC.

Meantime, please prepare and submit your questions here in this thread (or send them directly to @strophy).
I suggest sending one question per user, as there will be limited time for the Q&A section.

Q for the Q+A part please:
--Q: will DCG look into submitting a proposal to study DEBNK style hedging being implemented? (ie. Going with an in-wallet hedging solution, instead of creating a stablecoin..)

Q2: will DCG look into submitting a budget proposal to have at least 1 DCG team member working full-time on product adoption in Venezuela? Idea: it's time for us to go to the next level of seriousness/competitiveness for the Venezuela market

This will never happen. They just want to write code forever, they don't want to actually do anything with it and actively resist anyone who tries to make DASH real-world usable.

This is why vendor support DASH projects are destined to fail. The goal they have is not the same as the goal DCG has, in one key aspect.

Adoption support projects want, duh, adoption! DCG's leadership is vehemently opposed to adoption. All they want is for the clown show budget to vote them welfare forever, then write code forever. They absolutely do not want anything else to ever happen. Oh, and smoke weed every day. Atl36, lolz! A bunch of soyboy communists larping as muh obviously not libertarian...

The time for what you suggest has not come. It has passed. Several years ago. They're never going to do it. It's the opposite of what they want... They've let opportunity after opportunity pass them by, because they don't want to win. They've elevated "snatching defeat from the jaws of certain victory" to an art form never before seen in human history. They do everything they can to avoid wining, and guarantee that they can never win.

Bitcoin has already decided to be Government Coin (only government subsidies can keep their model running), and collude with corrupt regulators to shut down any use model but that of a naked, featureless, infrastructure-free, un-scalable blockchain. Governments will institute their own Lightning Network clearing houses that control and spy on everything off chain. Will that gambit win? Who knows, but that's what they're hoping for,and so far, Government has been in full support and done all it can to destroy legitimate innovation and promote ponzi/tulip scams.

Anything else has been yeeted hard by regulatory fraud. DCG dragged their feet well past the point of no return on this, among so many other critical points which could have been directed properly when it was still in the future and the present, but now it is distant past, already decided, and too late.

None of this matters anymore. It's too late. There's no reason to ask the question, or answer it. It's like debating the best marketing strategy for the first Ghostbusters movie... Not relevant.

The LatAm Business Development Manager at DCG is from Venezuela, is strongly focused on adoption there, and has been for the last two years.
Sure, but DCG's leadership is opposed, and there's zero "biz dev" support.

Lols, your ground breaking technology announcements get more attention from spam bots than actual people... That should tell you something about the size of your echo chamber...

Why are you still using YouTube? It's the opposite of an open or inclusive platform... Why would you continue to support their prejudice? You could just as easily link and embed your video using BitChute.
