Capital controls in Greece: Greek language Wiki a good idea perhaps?!

I see the Greeks are still being absolutely stiffed by the IMF etc. Apparently it's getting better there but that is doubtful. Seems to me like they could benefit from DRK. Not just short-term. But as a way of building out of the ashes.

Makes me wonder if a Greek language Wiki might be a good move? I saw the French one and it looked good.

Imagine how popular DRK could become in places like Cyprus, once the Cypriots realise that Bitcon is the NWO coin in disguise!

I heard there are markets in Greece where there are no Euro being used whatsoever and they only use promissory notes and do everything on trust, which is kinda like the first types of fiat money really. What about Greececoin, perhaps they could deal outside of central bank controlled fiat altogether?

There's already Greececoin and CyprusCoin, but both seem to be non-starters - the GreeceCoin developer in particular doesn't seem to know what he's doing.

A big part of the problem in Greece is the taxes. I have relatives in Greece, and they have actually sent us money to buy shoes and clothes for their kids because they are so expensive at home. The taxes are high because the government is bloated, the debt is out of control (and the EU expects them to pay it back), and the wealthy are able to get out of paying. All that is to say that crypto-currency could theoretically be really good for Greece, at least inasmuch as it would allow the poor as well as the rich to avoid some taxes. It would be a lot easier if there was a DRK smart phone wallet, and a DRK equivalent of Coinbase or Bitpay to allow merchants to set up easy transactions.

I agree there could be a really opportunity for Darkcoin in Greece. I don't speak any Greek myself, and I am not very close to my Greek relatives, but I could reach out to them to see if this is on their radar. If so, maybe one of them would be interested in putting together a Greek Language Wiki.

perhaps Darkcoin is the answer, certainly for taxes (or lack of lol), you probably know this but,
'former Pasok Greek PM G-Pap's mother, Margaret, also wife of former PM Andreas, who according to The Telegraph has been revealed as having a €550 million ($700 million) Swiss bank account (she will hardly be happy to learn that Credit Suisse just instituted a negative interest on CHF deposits) in the Geneva branch of HSBC.'

Thats a lot of dosh for 89 year old mother of the prime minister and she probably got it all because the Greek prime minister son was paid millions of euro in order to accept foreign debt in the form of credit default swaps from outside banks. he effectively sold out the country's future generations for a few poxy Euro, the man is a treason to his own country. Now the brainwashing via the lamestream media is to believe that Greece always had this giant debt, but they did not, it was put onto them, this is a typical way of taking over countries from the outside, basically place them into debt not of their making (Ireland for example, even Iceland-but they are the only country that stood up to the banks), this is debt servitude, when the debt can not be paid, as they know it will not, the assets are stripped (in this case Greece's beautiful islands are sold off for a pittance) ..

Yeah, the government is incredibly corrupt and always had been. Given that it's amazing how successful the socialists have been. I wonder what would happen if they found themselves unable to collect taxes on most of their citizens?

That's the first time I hear this and I live in Greece! Do you have a link? I suspect it's probably nothing more than rumors

As for Greececoin, I doubt the dev is even Greek. Like those other country coins it's probably just a scam
