There's already Greececoin and CyprusCoin, but both seem to be non-starters - the GreeceCoin developer in particular doesn't seem to know what he's doing.
A big part of the problem in Greece is the taxes. I have relatives in Greece, and they have actually sent us money to buy shoes and clothes for their kids because they are so expensive at home. The taxes are high because the government is bloated, the debt is out of control (and the EU expects them to pay it back), and the wealthy are able to get out of paying. All that is to say that crypto-currency could theoretically be really good for Greece, at least inasmuch as it would allow the poor as well as the rich to avoid some taxes. It would be a lot easier if there was a DRK smart phone wallet, and a DRK equivalent of Coinbase or Bitpay to allow merchants to set up easy transactions.
I agree there could be a really opportunity for Darkcoin in Greece. I don't speak any Greek myself, and I am not very close to my Greek relatives, but I could reach out to them to see if this is on their radar. If so, maybe one of them would be interested in putting together a Greek Language Wiki.
