    Bitcoin cash on Jaxx wallet

I know that this is off topic, but I hope that others find it helpful. I, for one, am very disappointed that Jaxx has chosen to either drag their feet in integrating Bitcoin Cash...or at a minimum, keeping their customers in the dark as to their progress (or lack thereof). Anyway, found a way...

Bitcoin fork and bitcoin cash and any impact on Dash

In that I generally have to first own bitcoin in order to trade for DASH, I hope this topic is ok...I suspect others may have similar questions. First, I am new to cryptos and way behind on the learning curve. But, everything I have figured out tells me that crypto is the future. I also get...

    Dash Mobile Apps

Get it from Android Play Store or Apple App Store (Jaxx Blockchain Wallet).

    Dash Mobile Apps

Another component of Jaxx has fallen. I can no longer endorse Jaxx wallet. First, it was that it would no longer report the value of your cryptos in whichever fiat currency you selected...it did when I first began using Jaxx. So, tried reaching out to their support, but possibly the WORST...

    Dash Mobile Apps

I have been using Jaxx, but it has become quite buggy. The developers say I need to use the latest update...but there is no update available beyond what I am using. I started off loving the app and it worked well, but then it stopped working so good. I liked Jaxx because it was simple to use...

    Jaxx wallet issue

For several days, my coin values have been frozen such that the value of my separate wallets have remained the same as expressed in US dollars even though I know that the values of my 3 coins have been changing. Anyone else seeing this problem or know a solution?

Old guy needs some basic answers

Well, just did my first transaction...transferred BTC from one wallet to another, then converted those to DASH...easy peasy. Thanks to all for your assistance.

Old guy needs some basic answers

First, thanks for the reply. I found how to have the app show me my private and public keys, but it shows me 3 private and 3 public keys...why 3 of each? For any given transaction, would it matter which of the 3 public keys I would provide? And should I print out these and keep them in a very...

Old guy needs some basic answers

Thanks for the reply. The only things I have seen so far, are what I'd guess is the public address and a backup phrase. I have seen nothing indicating a private key. I will search for this so I know what it is, but in meantime, what would the private key be used for?

Old guy needs some basic answers

LOL...then I am in the right place. 1) So, is it ever not safe to give out your cryto address? Seems you have no choice if you want to receive funds or make a transaction...so, I assume this is at least safe. 2) So, whether I am using a crypto to make a purchase or simply transfering funds...

Old guy needs some basic answers

Thanks to both repliers for answering my questions...this is about what I suspected. I think I'll start with a small (ish?) transfer of around $50 of BTC. Fees will obviously kill me by making small transfers, but think it would be smart to make sure everything works as expected.

    Mobile wallet safety

I've seen a number of posts citing mobile wallets being unsafe. Can someone explain exactly how or why the mobile wallet is unsafe? I can certainly understand if the phone is lost or stolen, and a password can be figured out, but beyond that, what are the risks and what is the potential for a...

Old guy needs some basic answers

I know for many of you youngsters who have grown up with technology, some of this is almost second nature to you. But for me (over 60), it is a bit challenging, but I don't mind that. Anyway, we are supposed to introduce ourselves...so there you go. Old guy with not a great deal of computer...
