Hey
I have changed the port to 7903. Now can you try again to see if the shares are getting accepted?
The port 7903 is not letting the worker get in. Now, I have changed the port to 8998 , try mining and tell if you get accepted shares.
I think you are confusing my pool with a p2pool, the dstorms p2pool was using 7903 port, my pool is much more like a privately owned pool. and if the port would have been wrong then i think i would not have been able to connect to the stratum at all. but i am able to connect but my shares are...
you have to mine at stratum+tcp://darkmine.io:3333 , you will have to register to create your worker, my miner is cpuminer and its producing very very less hashes.
Hey, i just constructed a drk mining pool. The stratum is running, mpos is set, darkcoind is running. but when i start mining with a worker, the pool doesnt accept any of my shares. i was thinking that there might be a problem with my mining hardware. so can anyone of you try mining on my pool...
Thank You all for your support. I have already got an investor and I also have setup my own pool.
I like your idea but first let me work on my own pool then i will surely think of setting a multipool that pays out only in drk.
I think I have got the p2pool running :- http://darkmine.io:7903/static/ , here I am able to see the my rate and my shares and all which is all 0. So, to start mining should i point my miner to darkcoin.io:7903 with any user and password ? or should i be pointing the miner to...
The problem still isnt getting solved, its showing the same error. Can there be a problem with my rpcport in my darkcoin.conf file ? what should be my rpcport in that file?
When is run the this code to run the p2pool :- screen -d -m -S myp2pool ~/p2pool-drk/run_p2pool.py --address YOUR_WALLET --net darkcoin USER_NAME PASSWORD Where YOUR_WALLET is my offline address, USER_NAME is "username" and PASSWORD is "password".
I am getting the following error :-
ror...
Thanks that was helpful and the last thing I just wanted to know is that Drkminer told me to use this command
, what should be my username and password over here? Can it be random or it has to something else? and can i use any offline dark address in place of "YOUR_WALLET"?
Hey
if you read dstorm p2pool-drk readme.md file, there it says that now we have to use the port 8998 to mine, and in the sticky thread of the mining section, chaplien is also saying to change the port from 7903 to 8998. you are confusing me now. what do i do? and can someone read the 2nd reply...
also wanted to know one more thing, that what will be the port on which i will mine? i had put rpcport=8998 , does the port depends on this? or as i have used dstorm p2pool, so i have to use 8998? should i be worried about using 8998 port?
Thanks that helped. just wanted to ask one more thing. do i have to clone xcoin-hash.git inside the p2pool-drk directory or outside it? and what does the USER_NAME and PASSWORD mean here? is it the rpcusernme and the passord that i had put in my darkcoin.conf file or is it something else?
I was trying to set up a pool. I was taking help from here :-http://www.reddit.com/r/DRKCoin/comments/1zg2c8/tutorial_how_to_set_up_a_darkcoin_p2pool_server/ , i know this tutorial contains many errors but i have managed to use it. . I have done the 'make' thing, i have done evrything but i am...
Wouldnt it be nice if you could own a pool??
I am a developer and will develop a drk mining pool so I am in a need of an investor who can provide me with a good VPS hosting service and a good domain name so that we can start up a dark mining pool. I do not want any donations in the form of any...
Its fine. Its fine if you dont add those sub-sections but India is not primarily an english speaking country and most of the people here speak in Hindi. So its fine, people would be able to use the indian section to know other darkcoiners and they would be also able to speak in hindi.
