How is evolution going to speed up anonymization?

I think it was Evans latest interview with The Daily Decrypt. It will use masternode blinding so that one round is enough. It also will require much less bandwidth, so that phones could use it. The only thing that wasn't clear to me is if it will be used by default (I hope so).

    New Reddit header?

Yeah, I was going for a lynx, but I can't draw and I don't have patience either. Kind of looks more like a dog tbh.

    New Reddit header?

Maybe we should wait until they change the name from Darksend to PrivacyProtect (or whatever) and design a new logo...

    Good experiment gone wrong

Maybe Coca-cola should start a fork.

    Good experiment gone wrong

Weren't you the one that was praising Dash's governance in a video? If you want a centrally controlled cryptocurrency go buy Ripple or something. Cool! Where can I get one?

Reimbursement Proposal for the Dash N Drink Instantx Miami Demo

The voting system works. Just because people don't vote to your liking doesn't mean there is anything wrong. We did pass the 2mb block with tons of votes in less than 24h.

    Good experiment gone wrong

No. Those hundred of opinions coalesce to a simple yes or no, everything is all right.

    Creating ESCROW in code

Well, if you don't want a "trust-less escrow" you will have to trust someone. You can either trust in oracles (kind of ok when they are decentralized, sybil-proof, and can acquire the necessary info), an escrow agent, or the vendor himself.

Maybe this will help you picture what needs to be done. See https://voluntary.net/bitmarkets/

    Dump Darksend!

InTheWoods Privacy is already a concept governments fight against. "Fungify it" would haven been even better for staying under the radar (unless those mushrooms gave them the wrong idea :-) ).

    Let's get thinking

I want something that can't be shut down, that government never gets a hold of who is betting, and that people can bet on more exciting stuff like soccer and horses. Billions of dollars in bets flowing through Dash.

    Let's get thinking

emitkirby, Solarminer Hum, what if we funded a decentralized gambling application with no middle man that uses Dash's masternode quorums as oracles for the bets? That would never be developed by a for profit corporation, but would create a huge real-world drive to use Dash...

    Arcade idea

bluebit It did come across that way, but that post wasn't referring to you, it was to the guy that said that [currency] monopolies are not our concern. Never mind that, let's move on. I still don't think people should be forced to accept Dash, though.

    Arcade idea

Yeah, maybe you should cool off.

    Arcade idea

This is not about means, it's about principle. If you could make a nation force its merchants to accept Dash exclusively, would you do it?

An altcoiner defending currency monopoly? And I thought I had seen it all...

    Arcade idea

Even if we could do it, currency monopoly is everything that we stand against!

    Let's get thinking

We have already struck a deal with Lamassu, do you know of any other BTC ATM manufacturer/operator that would be interested in adopting Dash?
  20. lynx

    Let's get thinking

That would be awesome, but the things is, dealing with fiat is a regulation nightmare. No country wants money to be freely convertible and easily transferable. They said they are doing it to "protect us from terrorists".
