    V12 Testing Thread

So the reference node going down allowed this guy to inject himself into the masternode winners list?

    Development Update - June 2, 2015

Nobody owns 51% of the masternodes. And what you call mob rule is more frequently known as "democracy."

(No DASH) Bitfinex: Hot Wallet Might Have Been Compromised

Just like I said over on BCT...if you're too lazy to change the ticker of one of your three traded currencies (Dash is still shown as "DRK") then you're probably lax in other important areas too, like security. Less than two weeks later, my prophecy came true.

    Why wouldn't you use Dash?

For the record, although I'm opposed to "dirty" uses of Dash... ...one of these days, after enough of people start serving prison time because their payments were traced, people on the darkweb are going to start realizing that BTC is no anonymous and not appropriate to use in highly illegal...

Vote: Self-sustainable Decentralized Governance by Blockchain

I voted from my MNs as well. No feedback, but if you do ./dashd masternode list vote | GREP <YOURIP> you will see your vote.

Vote: Self-sustainable Decentralized Governance by Blockchain

Nor for me "masternode vote-many yea" gives me "Voted successfully 0 time(s) and failed 4 time(s)."

Vote: Self-sustainable Decentralized Governance by Blockchain

Just to clarify...do I need to load my cold wallet to vote, or can I vote on any wallet as long as the proper masternode.conf is loaded? I hate fooling with my cold wallet plus security issues...

Vote: Self-sustainable Decentralized Governance by Blockchain

Very good question. I think our #1 priority needs to be eliminating the reference node. I'd like more information on how this impacts development plans on 0.12.0.x before I vote.

Bitcoin Core Developer Commits to 20MB Block Size by March, 2016

PoSe, not PoS. I agree that just having coins sit there does nothing for the network but running an mn or having an mn share does

Owner of 11% of Dash in Existence

All: It's come up a few times before on the BCT thread, but it is of course difficult to keep the conversation on a single thread for long, plus all the trolls etc... What are your thoughts on: https://chainz.cryptoid.info/dash/wallet.dws?559582.htm My first thought is that somebody with that...

    Why wouldn't you use Dash?

I was just thinking to myself "Why wouldn't anyone want to use Dash?" Pretty much everything I can think of that people might want in a digital currency, we already have (Notably, all the advantages are just as applicable to your average Joe as they are to crypto enthusiasts): Dash is private...
