V12 Testing Thread

This is version 12.
I add 999 after walletpassphrase somepasshere 999 and it is the same.

Well, seems like "Eternal" is a second word in your passphrase. In case you have spaces/special characters in your passphrase you need to wrap it in (double) quotes, for example:
walletpassphrase "Lineage Eternal" 999

Sounds like you're out of space. Try "df -h"
Sorry, I've been gone all day. I have a ton of space, but maybe you're right. Only thing is, I don't know what df -h is or how to use it ;P So if anyone can help, I'd sure appreciate it, LOL.

Also, are we all still on 11.2.23? Or have you all already switched back to 12?

Edit, I figured out how to use it, and I've only used 1 gb of 65gb, still have 64gb available, so I don't think that's the problem. Maybe I'll reinstall the operating system?

Sub-Ether or anyone... if you can, please send me v.11 tDASH so I can set up masternodes, I would appreciate very much. All my tDASH are on v12 blockchain. moocowmoo has been trying to sync his wallet so he can send them to me but so far i haven't seen any yet and he has to shut down his machine for the moving today, so i'm not sure if he can send any. Here are my addresses:

have no unlocked (tDASH > 1000) for the second one :oops:

eduffield I haven't been able to sync since yesterday on my two linux server nodes. Yesterday, I was trying the latest build, today, I was trying the 11.23 build. Same problem. I get this in debug log:
2015-08-01 19:32:53 Failed to create backup boost::filesystem::copy_file: File exists: "/home/ingie/.dash/testnet3/wallet.dat", "/home/ingie/.dash/testnet3/backups/wallet.dat.2015-08-01-19.32"

The automatic-backup-feature has an intended minimum resolution of 1 minute, and if you restart your wallet within the same minute the already existing backup gets not overwritten. This is logged in your debug.log (it's just an information, not an error), and is NOT related to your problem.

With no error message it looks like it worked. But does it take time to add the Dash? Still the same balance. @UdjinM6

If you look under forum "Dash Guides" ==> "Daemon and QT Wallet Guides", you will see some good resources, and there's a video to show you how to export/import private keys: https://dashtalk.org/threads/dash-wallet-private-key-export-import-video.4872/

This guide is also on our Wiki, here's the link: https://dashpay.atlassian.net/wiki/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=1867821

okay.. just to get clear what happens:

currently i got it like that:

- v11 testnet is on its own chain
- v12 testnet stacks on v11 testnet, but was forked for v12 development -> new chain?
- now we rollbacked to v11 (everything done in v12 is gone?)

the reason for the rollback is to test v12 rollout. After that we got a new 'fresh' v12 (stacked on current v11) is this correct?

New Version - v0.12.0.35

Code:
2015-08-02 18:07:07 ERROR: ContextualCheckBlockHeader : forked chain older than last checkpoint (height 1)
2015-08-02 18:07:07 ERROR: ProcessNewBlock : AcceptBlock FAILED
2015-08-02 18:07:07 Misbehaving: 188.226.223.5:19999 (0 -> 100) BAN THRESHOLD EXCEEDED

That's all I get from a freshly installed client...not a single block synced so far.
I guess I just have to wait until some compatible clients show up.

Edit:
Code:
if (pcheckpoint && nHeight < pcheckpoint->nHeight)
  return state.DoS(100, error("%s : forked chain older than last checkpoint (height %d)", __func__, nHeight));

nHeight == 1 will be a problem for all peers syncing from scratch.

My wallet is synced, but a few blocks behind?
