Pre-Proposal: Two Conferences In Tunisia

Description and Goal Statement:

Cryptocurrencies are not used frequently in Middle east, People just have small ideas about these type of currencies, but they have never thought about using it, even though people in this area would start for sure using it if they find somebody who show them the importance of using cryptocurrencies, especially the public we focus on which are University students in general and computer sciences world (Professors , Engineers , students…) in particular because they are the category of people they may use Cryptocurrencies.

Why are these kinds of people ones who may use Cryptocurrencies ?

(A) the people in this field are more used to internet and have no fair of using their money in the Web.
(B) they would understand the use of it faster than normal people.
(C) due to statistics, Cryptocurrencies are used more by Freelancers and Programmers.
So we envisioned to hold conferences in many different parts in the Middle East, as we did as an experiment in our home Country Tunisia. But we are sure that this work would be more efficient in the middle east than in north Africa, and this is due to the development of middle east countries. In these countries people have so much money that they would be highly interested on investing it into Dash money.

Our conferences will take place in almost all important universities and technologic schools of the Middle east.
We will make much advertisement to bring people to assist to our conferences. Each Conference will host around 400 people. United Arab Emirates , and this seems to be a very good beginning, because what we are projecting in the future is much greater. Finally these events will let people to know the advantages of getting Dash and what good effect will that bring to themselves. We are going to generate content and post it on the internet and social media, and that will increase the number of interested people about DASH.

What we have done ?

We have organized ( two conferences in our Country, we hosted an attendance of 90 + 60 people in two universities. We presented a show about DASH and its benefits showing the growing graph of DASH and it can change your business investment.

Why the Middle East ?

As you know the middle east is one of the richest regions of the world especially the countries we will work on. So there is going to be more chances for Middle east people to get DASH than other people of the world.

Also The Middle East currently ranks fourth globally in terms of its cross-border global investment activity. It means that they tend to invest their money outside of their country. So they would prefer to transfer their money via Cryptocurrencies than via normal currencies.

“In the United Arab Emirates and other middle east countries, the demand to trade and issue digital assets has grown exponentially with the phenomenal surge in valuation of cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and the rapid evolution of blockchain technology,” said ArabianChain founder and CEO Mohammed Alsehli. “The regional market is ripe and hungry for a user-friendly platform that makes it possible for them to buy and sell in a secure environment.”

Speaking to media on the sidelines of the UNLOCK blockchain forum in Dubai on Monday, Alsehli said that ArabianChain “is working on a couple of options to allow uninterrupted cash deposits into the system”, in addition to allowing the peer-to-peer trading of cryptocurrencies.

“This hopefully will be completed in two weeks,” he said. “With that, we’ll have the full platform running at full capacity with everyone doing their trading of their preferred cryptocurrencies.”
All this represents an opportunity for Dash (specially Dash Evolution), to become widely used by people in this area residing both in and out of the country.


Our steps :

• The first step consists on preparing all what we are going to do.

• Contact the universities to have the authorizations to organize the conferences.

• By the same time the hardware manager will be buying all the material we need.

• The Website and social media pages will be founded and ready to give people the facilities they need to know more about Dash.

• The content of the conferences will be prepared by the Project team.

• 19-07-2018 : First Conference in the University of Sousse

• 23-07-2018 : Second Conference in the University of Sfax

• Presentation of cryptocurrencies in general.

• Presenting Dash and the benefits of investing in it.

• Showing graphs and the history of DASH currency.

• How Does Dash's DAO Work.

• How to download and setup Dash wallets.

• How it private send works.

• How to purchase Dash from exchanges.

• How to set up a masternode.

Our budget it’s being asked for 2 conferences in Tunisia

pre-production:

Advertising and press management : 100 USD ---> Details: press, graphic design.

Community manager : 150 USD ---> Details: website,facebook,twitter,instagram,youtube,dash forum,dash nation slack.

Workshop Materials : 200 USD ---> Details: branded folders,branded pens,note


production :

Authorization cost : 350 USD ---> Details: university administration, authorities.

Catering : 150 USD ---> Details: for the participants and the crew.

Insurance : 200 USD ---> Details: overage in case of personal accidents during the event.

Innovation staff ( 5 members ) : 90 USD ---> Details: 5 innovation staff members , with their branded uniforms.

Registration and security staff : 80 USD ---> Details: 3 security staff members and 3 registration staff members.

Cameraman : 100 USD ---> Details: photo taking , selection and enhancing.

Conference speakers : 300 USD ---> Details: specialist in every subject.

Video recording : 150 USD ---> Details: complete recording of the entire event.

Video editing : 90 USD ---> Details: 2 video for youtube.

English translation = 60 USD --->Details: 1 article per event.

English subtitles = 60 USD --->Details: 2 video for youtube.

Total for 2 conferences : 2080 USD / 8.1 DASH

I think you should break down this proposal to per month proposals and only ask for what you will consume that month. You are including a 3 month proposal, so your budget could be for 32,582 or 105.33 DASH per month instead of a high number in just one go.

This will make masternodes less nervous of you running away with the money, and also we can evaluate your performance for a 2nd and 3rd round.

It will also help you creating more interaction with the global community and be able to open it up for bigger projects.

You should start with a small proposal of 1 conference, show good results and approach the community again.

This will improve your chances of getting funded.

Hi ,

We already organized 2 conferences in our home university without support from dash network.

If you checked our website you will see what we have done. And we got great results and big community from Tunisian people. That's why we are sure we have big chances to get funded.

we are sure that this work would be more efficient in the middle east than in north Africa, and this is due to the development of middle east countries. In these countries people have so much money that they would be highly interested on investing it into Dash money.

I think your proposal has a lot of upside and I would support it. I think as JZA mentioned breaking it down into a multi month proposal allows you to further build your reputation and de risk from a MN perspective.

• 21000 USD = travel to 5 different countries by airplane , hotel , food etc.. for 60 days include 7 members it's cheap , calculate with me again . 21000 ÷7 = 3000 USD for each one .

• We asked 9000 USD for workshop Materials because for each conferences we'll use new Materials , please open your mind , it's 10 different conferences in 5 countries . 9000 ÷ 10 = 900 USD for each conference .

• I saw before a lot of conferences proposals they asked budget for thier team also they asked for high budget to make just two conference in thier contury , you should to know my proposal it's different than the others .

Hello! Greetings from Caracas, Venezuela. I like this pre-proposal. I think spreading DASH education is the best way to empower people and enlarging our community.

However, as other members said before, you should break down your budget and also maybe try with only one country at this time.

Why?

You will be asking for less DASH, and you and your team will be able to live the experience of travelling together and making a conference out of your country. Also, giving numbers and metrics to the community of your first conferences in the first country you'll visit, will give a reference of your work on what you have reached, so you can expand your project like you want in the different countries of Middle East.

In other sense, I think you should first talk with universities and have an approach with them before you submit your proposal so you can have the space for conferences for sure. Imagine you travel to the country and go to the university where you want to make the conference and the authorities don't give you the permission to do so, for whatever reason they have... It's important to secure those kind of little but important things before you make another step forward your project.

My team Dash Youth Venezuela and I are going to start with our work visiting middle schools and universities to educate young people about DASH, and before all, we talked with the authorities of every institution we wanted to visit to assure those spaces. I recommend you the same, taking into account that you are going to travel.

Yes we asked 23000 usd for our team Who they will oversee 10 conferences / 60 days,
if we calculated again 23000 ÷ 7 members = 3285 usd per one member / 3285 usd ÷ 60 days = 54 usd per day .

And we asked for 7000 usd for the Project management because he's the owner of the team . 7000 usd ÷ 60 days = 115 per day .
