Budget Proposal: The Instantx Soda Machine!

I can confirm that the android wallet doesn't have the check box for instantX. Can the iphone wallet do instantX or how about the electrum wallet? I mean, are we trying to get all wallets covered or get at least one wallet to work with IX? :)

Thanks this definitely works and I am happy to share it with them. It does put some pressure on us to make it look like that, is beautiful.

This will definitely win us some time, eventually we will have to send the real pictures, but that can be after it is ready. Do you think it will be ready a few days prior to the event?

I will use this in the meantime and report back what they say. Cheers.

These are beautiful and all but I can't help but ask where the "what is Dash?" info is?

I see a HUGE white space dead center that would be perfect for atleast some basic text to be added. Whether you add "Private. Secure. Instant." under the logo or a small 2-3 sentences about what Dash is really doesn't matter to me but I just feel like were making 1 too many assumptions here.

Assumption 1: Everyone has a basic understanding of what Dash is/does.
Assumption 2: Everyone will hear the Dash pieces presented.
Assumption 3: Everyone will actually be at the Miami event. (We should focus on the fact this soda machine will be covered by many news outlets and photos will be taken of it as well, thus we should have as much information on here as possible, without ruining the pretty design obviously.)
Assumption 4: People are smart.

Also, is it possible to have a table to the side of this machine with some collateral like a small brochure about the machine & Dash? I will gladly make these files if noone is available, just want to get the most out of this awesome machine!

The machine will be chaperoned by professional, knowledgeable staff. The whole point is to get the visitors to ask questions.

White design of sides is very stylish, but I would prefer to see DASH logo is directed to up, not to down...

For brochures and leaflets - it is possible to adjust holders on side surface...

Fair enough but not everyone likes to ask questions, interrupt people, or even talk to them period. So I still think we should have printed material for those folks and people to take home with them. Any business selling anything knows you don't just force the perspective customer/guest to "do it your way".

If you give them options such as a choice to chit chat for 10 minutes about Dash or take home a flyer/brochure w/ Links and such, your chances of conversion are much higher.

Like I said, I'll gladly design and write the material, it's not an issue of that.
 
I agree with TheDashGuy, and it should say basically what Camo said toward the beginning (his first post here) explaining the reasons for the soda machine. Other vending machines exist for Bitcoin, but this is different.
 
It's a fairly self evident thing. Part of what makes a vending machine great is that everyone already knows how to use one. You look at the screen and you see basic instructions and a QR code. Most anyone spending $WayToo.much to attend this event will not need that explained to them. They charge money to keep riff raff like me out of these places... :p

The bast way to throw off the "Crypto vendign amchines already exist" trolls is to agree with them, then point out that you've never seen one that doesn't force the risk of double-spends, which once discovered, would isntantly bankrupt any company fool enough to do that...

Which is why BitClones are immune to public adoption.

I've spoken to a few people lately who confirmed two of my primary arguments for why BitClones are stuck in the mud and will never be adopted. Persons just vaguely familiar with BitCoin. They all say: "But I can't spend it anywhere, so it's worthless to me." BitClones are immune to adoption because only the most clueless retailer would accept the risk of using it. Absolutely ZERO transaction security. Forcing the Ledger security to run double-duty, creating blocktime waits for "confirmations." We've come to accept this failure as "just the way things are" and that has to change.

Another guy I talked to just today brought this up without me making any suggestions about it. "So, I could just sell my car to someone who has DASH, and bam, I have DASH?" I didn't suggest trading for fiat, exchanges, nothing. And the thought never crossed his mind. Exchange obsession is, as I've said all along, an obsession of cryptotards. Real people don't even have that thought. And, again, they're not going to sit around waiting for confirmations, or risk a double-spend. Again proving that this selfish socialist cryptotard obsession with me me me, hype hype hype, oh teh user experience, is exactly why BitClones are immune to adoption. they've never even thought about the Vendor Experience. They're too self-absorbed and stupid to realize that's what's preventing their coveted "to the moon" adoption.

If I hand someone $4,000 to buy a car (which is how I got the car I have right now), I don't have wait for block confirmations. I don't have to risk that money being spent right out of my pocket. It's instantly secured. Cash can still be inflated out of my pocket by the wildly corrupt government that deliberately mismanages it, but that's another story.

Stop trying to convince people to use cryptocurrency. Just ask if they've heard of BitCoin, and listen to their concerns about it. A lot of what they believe is misinformation they heard via government propaganda outlets (the media). Once you've debunked those lies, they innately know that the lies were told to scare them away from a good thing. The government/banksters have played out this pattern so much, most people are seeing it, they only put up with it because they don't know any alternative. Give them one. DASH. You don't even have to explain it to them. They already hate all that shit. You can skip the whole libertarian-trying-to-convince-them bit. They're already interested and they already know why. Just shut up and listen. Then it's only a few sentences to say "BitClones risks losing your money in real life transactions. That's why no educated person uses it that way in real life. DASH doesn't have that problem, among so many other benefits we haven't even talked about yet."
