Anti-virus software often reports coin-daemons/mining software falsely as malicious software.

I you downloaded it from the official download page (https://www.darkcoin.io/downloads/) you don't have to worry and can mark the software as exception/safe.

If you downloaded it from somewhere else I'd remove it/put it into quarantine, pray and do a complete scan of your computer just to make sure there's nothing else.

BTW, did I mention that you should always download from the official download page only?

Thanks! Was just a little concerned about losing any darkcoin purchases and more due to a Trojan. I mean with so much advanced programming involved I would tend to think something capable of doing something like that might be child's play to certain individuals or groups.
