What to buy right now? Asics

Hey guys and gals, what would be a good miner to buy right now to just get my feet wet and start learning more about mining. Doesn't have to be Dash but it would be preferred. Any solid tips for mining? Thanks for your time.

I think the antminer D3 is a good choice (disclaimer- I'm going to sell one soon, but I believe in the product).

I'm in the same situation and decided to get the D3, I got it from bit main and used some of my NEO profit to buy it so didnt feel so bad spending the BTC. Im in the mid nov batch.. I figure if I can make back the ~0.3 btc over 4 months and then 1btc in one year and learn a little and have some fun doing it it would be worth it and will probably lead me down the miners rabbits hole.

I wan to mine and hold some dash too as it's stable and I see some long term growth there with BTC/BCH hard forks, segwit and all the splits that may come

You should definitely keep some of the dash, it should rise more than ~$220.
