Scammed?

Just signed up to Genesis yesterday to mine Dash but since read online posts that it is considered a scam and virtually impossible to recoup investment.

Any advice/comments/experience of Genesis appreciated. Fortunately not recommended to any one I know.

I have not done the math so I could definitely be wrong.. but my gut feel is that GM are scamming; i feel their payouts have reduced as the price of dash goes up.. that's not how it's supposed to work, it should be proportional to the overall hash rate. I would love for someone to do the comparison and show me I'm wrong.
