Currently the most subversive of all is not a gov or a state when it comes to Dash but the competition. The nastiest trolling comes from our competition. Just check the crazy trolling action happening in the Bitcointalk thread.

Actually some states love cryptocurrencies because they can use it as a weapon against adversaries. Putin, for example, believes Bitcoin was created by the CIA and that the US wants to use it as a weapon to undermine the Russian economy, by forcing people out of rubles into Bitcoin, creating weakness in their national currency. This why Russia has been so tough on Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general, cryptocurrencies such as Dash.

Again, the people who are pro Transform PR start spreading this kind of BS fear mongering.

Vedran Yoweri, author of this thread, was also the brilliant author of this statement, referencing Transform PR:

Stopping the best PR we could ever have?

Why do you keep cross posting against the PR campaign if there are already two or three of them specifically debating that subject?
Don't you think it's a bit impolite to spam the board like this?

Was just pointing out to the real source of said poster's grievances to put things into context.

No, you are imposing unto others your belief system. This is an independent thread about something completely different, and, IMHO, just another excuse to downtalk the PR efforts

So they only thing you care about is the perma-death of Transform PR? So much so that you mention it in unrelated threads?

Maybe you could simplify things by just adding a signature. Something like Delenda est Transform PR.

Wow, guy sounds like a dick.

P.S.
Maybe new forum accounts linked to owned MasterNodes. Think this will help everyone judging comments and or proposals.
Excellent article, thanks for the link.

Actually this is exactly how some of our worst trolls on BCT act. Scary.

EDIT: In this context :)

It's very much related actually. The only reason threads like these popped up was because of that. Some people just can't accept dissenting views and turn to paranoia.

I know you were one of the Transform PR supporters yourself, one of the people actually involved in the project.

You have paddled the fear mongering idea that the community was infiltrated by gov agencies and that Dashguy is some gov agent in disguise. I'm sorry I can't link to that post of yours since that was since deleted as it was part of the Ban Dashguy thread. The mere thought of someone like Dashguy being an infiltrator is highly paranoid, childish and delusional. The guy is just autistic who can't restrain himself to posting short brief posts and does these long wall of text type posts.

This thread and what it aims to achieve is evil. Some of you people seek nothing more than to manufacture consent by killing opposing voices. You hope to turn whole community against some members so that Transform PR can re-emerge unopposed when the contract system arrives. That's your goal.

He's referring to the part of the post where Vedran Yoweri insinuates the new forum accounts are these types of people, which they may be but still insinuation. It's another step toward categorizing people in these forums into 'groups'. You guys are hell bent on splitting us up. Why not just ignore inthewoods posts if you don't agree with them? Responding isn't doing you guys any good.

Please read this post below and realize what raganius is saying. We should be uniting and not singling out people or lumping people into groups.

This thread is about a Bitcoin Magazine article in the first place, and the OP wanted to discuss any risk involved for the DGBB model of Dash. I have no idea why this is turned into a "Transform PR shitstorm" thread again, discussing persons instead of ideas.

InTheWoods, you are seriously off-topic here.

Cool man. Let's keep going it's helping so much. Have a little self control. You feel compelled to respond to every post InTheWoods makes. Seems like it's stressing you out. Maybe you need a break.

First of all one could argue this whole thread is off-topic since it's not really Dash related. It doesn't belong in the General section.

It was a deliberate attempt to instigate paranoia and push a specific agenda. I was very on topic actually because I was pointing out what's the real agenda here and who is behind this effort.

Interesting read, thanks. I've found it worthwhile looking at mainstream financial news, blogs, etc. from time to time with this in mind as the methods are even more blatant than regular mainstream channels and they usually go hand in hand with market movements backing up the illusion, the disruption in Bitcoin really opened my eyes to it and from there it became even more obvious in other areas. Something not mentioned in that is using your own arguments against you, it frequently happens in the BCT Dash announcements thread that the trolls are attacked on some point and not long after they use the same point to attack others, blatent once you've spotted it.

This things worth a read, undoubtedly many more methods not covered but it has the basics:

lol and here I thought he was going to talk about how he would try to bring it down from a technical perspective, but it's just all about how to demoralize the community. There is a certain element of truth to this, although if the currency actually provides a real world added value then this becomes less of an issue. But let's not go around accusing people of deliberately causing problems. At least with DASH, the individuals who ultimately make decisions about the network are the ones who are most heavily invested in its success. Don't get butthurt over trolls and don't assume that people who disagree with you strongly are all trolls.

Maybe it's very on-topic. Maybe the mentioned story is about these kinds of discussion tactics. But what do i know.
