Confidential - PRESS RELEASE

Strike Social starts accepting Dash as payment for digital advertising campaigns

No. 17 fastest-growing private company in the United States will use the new currency to facilitate international expansion

CHICAGO December 20, 2017

Strike Social — the No. 17 fastest-growing private company in the United States, according to the Inc. 500 — is happy to announce the inclusion of Dash as an accepted form of payment for digital advertising campaigns.

Strike Social holds the distinct honor of being the largest YouTube ad optimization firm, with half of its revenue coming from Facebook and other digital ad platforms, such as Amazon, DoubleClick, Snap, Twitter, LinkedIn and Instagram. Strike Social operates in 14 different fiat currencies, which can access 40 countries outside the U.S.

“It’s hard to express how labor intensive, painstaking and expensive it is for companies to operate across borders in fiat currencies,” said Patrick McKenna, Strike Social's chairman and co-founder. “The cost to manage this in your own accounting and finance departments is tough and in most cases you have to hire local tax specialists to help you stay in compliance and updated with laws and changes in those countries to keep banking!”

It was a four-year march by Strike Social to establish four separate foreign subsidiary entities and set up 10 different traditional banking relationships in eight countries. Still, the company couldn’t reach a few major economies, such as Brazil and India.

Strike Social was conceived from a kitchen table in 2013 and has grown into a global workforce of more than 120 people.

“Going international the way we did as a bootstrap startup is next to impossible for most,” McKenna adds. “Adding Dash as a payment gets us the rest of the world, and with their negligible transaction fees, it’s a home run for us.”

The global digital ad spend is expected to hit $269 billion next year, reaching a total of $335 billion by 2020. “We’ll take the whole thing in Dash" says McKenna.

Yes, absolutely. Strike Social is a major video advertising buyer. This would be one of Dash's largest integrations.

In a business like media buying, shaving off 3-4% in international transaction fees could be a tremendous incentive for any potential advertiser.

I'm voting yes on this, but what I'd really like to see is Dash as one of your clients. Dash has some very good videos, but no marketing power behind them. Do you have any special sources for sending traffic to videos such as this:

I'm happy you like it! Not only are we looking at Dash for a reduction in fees, but we're also looking at Dash to help us service areas where banks won't allow us too. 100% we can help you push this video!

Wow. Is there a region where you guys have seen client interest, but have been blocked by banks and unable to service them? Seems like this type of client could immediately purchase in Dash.

Honestly, those regions exist all over the place when trading services for fiat currencies. I've listed some of them in the press release but a quick example is Korea. We offer services there. We get paid in KRW but our HSBC bank in Singapore won't convert KRW to USD so our money sits in a domestic bank in Korea. HSBC doesn't want KRW. Simply put, we can travel to Korea and buy lots of stuff there :( We literally can't get our money out of Korea. We also can't do it in huge ad markets like Brazil, India which are massive ad markets. You can forget about smaller countries they have no chance.

Thank you for that explanation, Patrick. I am very excited that a big firm like Strike is starting to take Dash seriously and see how it can help. I really hope you decide to go through with the integration to accept Dash.

For 100 dash I would expect enterprise level PR to deliver the announcement.

A PR newswire release costs $1000:

I support the idea of this but I think we can do better than PR newswire. Dash deserves better than PR newswire.

Why not use the top tech PR firm in the world? Someone with solid relationships that is sure to deliver placements.

Hi Feedbands, thanks for the feedback. You are correct, PR Newswire can be had for less than $1000.00 but this is a global release which cost over 25K dollars. You pay that fee to send the news over the wire. In the proposal you'll also see our placements typically garner Forbes, Inc. TechCrunch, Huffpo and other tier 1 rags - the tier 2 and tier 3 rags are a given. But, the press release isn't really the meat here. We're talking about an integration. My global tech team will integrate and announce Dash as a form of payment for digital advertising services. The industry is expected to reach 260B dollars next year and we're the 17th fastest growing private company in the United States according to the Inc 5000. We have a very big voice. This is a game changer for Dash because we'd be opening markets that simply can't get services from a company like ours. It's also worth nothing that all the Tier 1 PR firms use Strike Social. For example Edelman, Weber Shandwick, Ketchum and Ogilvy - ranked 1,2,4 and #8 respectively https://www.holmesreport.com/ranking-and-data/world-pr-report/agency-rankings-2015/top-250 use our company's services. They are our customers. Does that make sense?

I think this could work

Do you have a detailed cost breakdown?
Who is behind this pre-proposal, or better say how can we be assure that actually you are from strike social?

Wait for your reply!
