@Pietro Speroni, a scientist who investigates e-democracy writes a book.

This book wants to be both a collection of tools needed to design an eDemocracy, as well as a set of problems where the reader is invited to apply those tools to try to solve some real world problems, as well as Pietro's personal solutions to those problems.
You can read more about this book here: https://www.patreon.com/pietrosperoni

Would you like dash to fund this book?

This is a preproposal that if it gets enough "yes" votes here, and if I manage to find the 5 dash proposal fee, I will post it in the governance system.

P.S. If you like any of my pre-proposals, give me some tip in dash:XnpT2YQaYpyh7F9twM6EtDMn1TCDCEEgNX so that I could add it to the budget system

Dear @demo thanks for the proposal. I am flattered, again.

Please don't spend 5 precious dash to make a proposal for me. If the dash core or the dash programmer want me to collaborate with them I am available. They can also add a voice in the budget for me, if they think my contribution is interesting enough, or we can also create the study group suggested in the other thread. Since they set up the 5 dash price I think it's fair for them to pay for it, right ;-).

For the book, I am happy to receive money from any person who wants to fund me on patreon. But unfortunately it does not support Dash (now changing that would be a proposal worth funding!). I also have no idea how long will it take me to finish the book, and in this moment when alt coins are growing exponentially I have to admit I am spending way to much time managing my portfolio. I would not want to let down this community which treated me so well.

You can support me yourself, in the meantime :).

Cheers,
Pietro

Have a look also at PIVX.
They voted this https://forum.pivx.org/t/cdg-mno-approval/910

“PIVX will work towards a ‘Community Designed Governance’ system that changes the distribution of votes, to include the entire PIVX community.”

This is an open call to whoever is interested in e-democracy (like you and me)

On the other hand there are forces in PIVX that dont like to vote the numbers at all.
Have a look at my story there, and to what happened to the proposal of the Adaptive-ProposalFee

downvoted it 400 times? Holy shit. That's a massive cluster of masternodes they have in PIVX. And I thought it was more distributed than DASH. I would say after this that PIVX is definitely not the place where we are going to see true distributed governance appear. No big deal, let's concentrate elsewhere.

By the way, Tez0s'ICO was postponed to undertermined date.
