Network Issues

Hi,

Did anything happened with network last night? I noticed strange behaviour:
block 531712 - reward 4.12613683 - diff 23585.14327135
block 531715 - reward 3.89230205 - diff 23789.59304741
block 531719 - reward 3.88373917 - diff 20374.78004697

Then my daemon crashed several times, diff went down to ~6k and everything went back to normal....

cheers,
feeleep

Hello @feeleep,

Thank you for keeping an eye on the network! We were dealing with some difficulties during the budget finalization process yesterday.
Our technical experts were monitoring the process closely and worked on the issue. It has been fixed quickly and the network has been stabilized without any negative impact except the difficulty drop, you have mentioned about.

Hi @feeleep,
Like @kot said already, we had some issues. We expected some nodes to stuck at some superblocks due to these issues but I'm really surprised that daemon actually crashed. And crashing several times in a row was not an expected outcome at all... Thanks for keeping an eye on network and keeping daemon/mining alive, I believe that helped to move network forward and pass superblocks more smoothly! Can you share debug.log if it wasn't shrunk yet and still covers these blocks? [email protected]
Thanks once again!

Unfortunately debug.log has been deleted :(
