The superblock killed the voters star
The superblock killed the voters star
In my mind and in my car
I'm busy this weekend to vote by far
Oh-a-a-a oh
Oh-a-a-a oh

I've not back tested this but, as others have pointed out, I'm wondering if superblock voting deadlines are discouraging votes. Sure, I get that some MNOs are lazy to vote but it probably doesn't help when the deadline is on or around the weekend. Time to move to a rolling vote model?

Unlikely. There are at least a dozen other bigger discouragements.

The DGBB is broken-on-purpose. I warned about it before it was implemented, but, nobody listens to the white cis gendered male ammosexual non-soviet...

Can you try to post without unnecessary political salt? IMO, it distracts from your points...

@GrandMasterDash what do you mean by a rolling vote model? I agree that the deadlines do discourage voting, or at least, discourages voting until the last minute and only for proposals that are close at the end. I think the last-minute thing or the group-think is much more of an issue than the day of the week the deadline falls on. One possible remedy is an implementation of secret ballots, for example the one proposed a while ago for ethereum classic (https://www.scribd.com/document/339563725/Ethereum-Classic-Treasury-System-Proposal-Google-Docs), although I'm not quite sold on this yet.

Tbh, I didn't think it through but I sometimes find myself leaving voting to the last few days. And also, I'm not particularly happy with large last minute proposals. Perhaps deadlines should be set individually from the date of submission.

Also, I am wondering if voting can be given a uri handler, making it a one-click, vote from the browser experience without leaving the page or separately starting DMT etc. At least then we can vote on things while the topic is hot.
