Some people may be experiencing down time if you use vultr as a host for your masternode. This is currently posted as a bulletin when you login to vultr.

I believe it has something to do this with article.

Vultr may not be the only one, other hosting companies could be applying patches and updating as well.

I also noticed the number of masternodes dropped from 2520 actives or more, down to 2483 actives (as of writing this post).

**I wrote a message to Vultr asking them what was up. This is the response I received. Note: If you are having trouble you most likely need to manually restart your server.

Hello,

Thank you for contacting us regarding this issue.

Our security team has been busy applying an emergency patch throughout our global platform for the VENOM vulnerability announced today. While this patch was applied transparently and should have had no impact on your environment, it appears this instance has crashed during the update and required a manual restart.

Please go ahead and reboot your VPS through your control panel and let us know should that not resolve this issue.

Regards,

Carl Macmillan
