Please I plead to the person who backdoor'd into my computer please return my coins. I am not rich and only make $30K a year working for a non-profit Christian ministry that helps people build relationship with Christ. I have 2-1/2 year old, and a 3 month old baby. I started investing in their future. My wife is really sad, and I am really hearbroken. I have no more investments and really believed in crypto.

I had my drk wallet locked and not running, but after I briefly installed the wallet from darkcointalk email few days ago, all my coins (drk, vrc) were gone.

I will forgive you even if you don't return my coins and hopefully you'll consider the lives you are distressing.

Blessings,

I really don't understand how the person was able to decrypt my wallet. wallet.dat was encrypted....My stolen amount is just still sitting there

Does anyone know how to gain control of this address?

Another question of mine is how did the person who sent the phishing message that appeared to originate from darkcointalk get my email address?

It seems like your email address is from the most popular online email provider with the same username you used here.

Phishing is a common occurrence. On the frontpage on Reddit's Bitcoin page is a link of another scammer trying to achieve the same.
http://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/2dvfhy/nice_try_blockchainimfo/ Instead of the email being from blockchain.info, they sent it from blockchain.imfo notice the M.

The relatively same thing happened with the darkcoin phish attempt. Instead of being sent from DarkcoinTalk.org, it was sent from DarkcoinTalk. with no top level domain of .org.

Anytime you get an email, you can always check the validity of it by seeing if it was signed. If not, it's a scam/forgery/ill intentions.

What did you do with the malicious wallet? Did you open it, did you install it? I think there are two possibilities, either they sent you a modified wallet that sends out your coins as soon as you unlock it or he installed some kind of trojan which was looking for your password inputs and maybe even wallet files on your hd.

There is probably no way to gain control of his address.

Unfortunately, I did install the compromised DRK wallet. He probably installed a keylogger or something. Anyways, I am really disappointed at myself and I am out of the market and probably won't be coming back. Good luck everyone.
