What Evan talks about in the end, reminds one of how new, disruptive ideas sometimes can fall asleep for many a winter without being much noticed, except in expert circles, only to reemerge and blossom with the right constellations and habitat in place for actually manifesting them in reality. What he likes to see in the future here 31:58 is pretty much exactly the concept of what celebrated Swiss economists B. S. Frey and R. Eichenberger were developing 20 years ago conceptually and calling FOCJ (Functional Overlapping Competing Jurisdictions; https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FOCJ but the wikipedia article in German has more meat https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Functional_Overlapping_Competing_Jurisdiction. With more DAOs actually becoming a reality, FOCJ could at last get such a habitat to grow from.
