How do I import a private key into the qt wallet?

    eg. from a paper wallet I have generated. I see no option in the wallet to do this.

    edit: I have found this guide: https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/How_to_import_private_keys_v7+ but this surely could/should be made easier?

    No reason DRK shouldn't lead the way in everyday utility as well!

    Exactly why I see this overshadow LTC real quick. This coin rocks for merchants and customers alike! Just needs implementation, thats all

    You could scan the private key with a phone, shoot it over to your computer and import. That would save you the trouble of typing the address.
