It's good to be back in the real world. i just got home today, but i got out of US federal prison last month. they make you live in a halfway-house for a while before you can actually go home. i originally got arrested in 2012 as part of "operation adam bomb". After spending a months in different federal holding facilities, including I.C.E. (immigration and customs enforcement), I ended up getting bail for $250,000. Then, I spent 2 years on house arrest before actually going to regular federal prison. i was lucky to only spend a little over 1.5 years actually locked up in prison. you get time off for "good behavior" and also the halfway-house is counted towards your sentence. freedom is a precious thing, so never take it for granted.
