Getting Started:

1. Create account.
  • Register here, or login if you already have account
  • Create a worker that will be used by the miner to login
2. Download a miner.
3. Configure your miner.
  • SGMiner (VarDiff)
    sgminer -k x11mod -o stratum+tcp://stratum.hashwiz.com:3333 -u Weblogin.WorkerName -p WorkerPassword
  • cpuminer -a X11 -o stratum+tcp://stratum.hashwiz.com:3332 -u Weblogin.WorkerName -p WorkerPassword
  • SGMiner (Mining Rigs)
    sgminer -k x11mod -o stratum+tcp://stratum.hashwiz.com:3334 -u Weblogin.WorkerName -p WorkerPassword

    If you want, you can create additional workers with usernames and passwords of your choice here
4. Create a DASH address to receive payments.
  • Downloading the client & block chain: Download the DASH client from here.
    Generate a new address and input it on your account page to receive payments.

Since when does minerd (link you provided) support X11? I mean you give instructions how to call it (minerd -a X11), but as far as it can tell the algorithm isn't supported...
Sorry, I'm new, but am I missing something?
 
I just pulled that from a Google search for "minerd x11" however, I have to admit that I have never x11 with minerd...

7- An empty file should pop up. Copy and paste this in there:

8- Don't close the file yet. First replace the "#" signs with what you need. If you have no idea what to put for "#", keep reading. If you know what to put, then skip to step 8.
  • "-a" stands for "algorithm." You'll always want X11. Don't change this.
  • "-o" stands for your pool's address and port. "stratum+tcp://address.com:####" Find that on your pool's website (usually under "Help" and then "Getting started"). If you don't have a pool yet, here's a list: https://www.darkcoin.io/mining.html This is what mine is:
