Hello it is much better if you buy them from the market as mining them will take you a lot of time especially if you have to spend a nice stash of money for that.
Suggest you to put the money you wanted to spend and buy the coins directly.

For example: 150-200$ for a r9 280x (and thats only the GPU) -> 0.05 Dash/day = 0.12$/day - 0.60$ electricity = -0.48$ LOSS. Buy them directly.

Mining is fun, but highly unprofitable. If you don't already own the equipment, it'll definitely cost too much. I wish I had not started to mine, I've wasted a lot of money doing it, but I did enjoy learning. Mine on whatever you have already so as to learn and have fun, but buy coins if you want coins.
