George Donnelly is about to take a serious run at the remittance market to Venezuela.

Ok, let's talk about Dash in Venezuela. George has been doing a bang up job in Colombia. One of the biggest hurdles at this point is a lack of liquidity in VZ. By attacking the remittance market we could efficiently send a lot of Dash to the region, but without taking a lot of Dash out of the Treasury.

This is an ambitious proposal from a proven and efficient team. George is very good at strategy and problem solving. The time is past for nice ideas and talking about adoption, and anything else that does not produce a real jump in transactions. Dash needs real world use and adoption. And he will give you the transparent and obvious metrics to see that progress. I believe his method of reporting will set a new standard for props. At a great price I might add.

Full disclosure, I played a modest role in designing this proposal.

Long DashWatch interview with George:

Ambrisi documentary about the things happening in Colombia. George makes several appearances:

Now he wants to take a serious run at the remittance industry going to Venezuela. He has thoughtful and extensive plans for how to make every link in the chain work, and work better, and work faster, and become self sustaining.

We are eager for constructive criticism. "Attaboys" are nice, but if you see problems, holes, room for improvement, bring it on.

There have been rumblings that Dash Ventures will be up and running soon. George Donnelly is ready, willing and eager to give the Dash Community a 25% equity stake in the new Venezuela Remittances proposal/business. Why wait when we could knock off another first in the Dash ecosystem???

All three of George's proposals passed!! Unfortunately, the Venezuela Remittance proposal just missed the the cut off and didn't get paid. Now what???

Dash Venezuela Remittances Takes Up the DAO’s Challenge

Dash Venezuela Remittances, part of the Dash Latam group of Dash mass adoption projects along with Dash Colombia and Dash Retail, presented a high-value proposal for Dash’s strongest use case in the region with the most Dash adoption in February. Despite the vigorous support of more than 800 Dash masternode operator YES votes, the DAO ran out of funds before reaching us.

The Dash Venezuela Remittances team remains committed to working with Dash. We are confident that we will rapidly establish ourselves as the most results-effective Dash team in Venezuela. We seek to expand our dialog with the Dash masternode community in March, so that we can resolve your questions.

We will conclusively demonstrate our ability to sell Dash for use in remittances across 3 continents in a way that is going to spark sustainable demand for Dash and result in more real Dash transactions at the active Venezuelan Dash merchants, closing the loop for Dash in Latam.

Thank you to those Dash masternode operators that recognize the value we bring to Dash. We very much appreciate your support and accept the challenge of continuing earning it.

Thank you to all of the team members of Dash Venezuela Remittances, from Peru, to Ecuador, to Chile, Florida, Colombia, Venezuela, Spain and other parts. We gave everything we had to demonstrate our value to the DAO, and now our task is to dig even deeper.

Our Dash Venezuela Remittances team is unparalleled in the number and quality of effective and passionate individuals. We are going to make big things happen such as:

  1. Dash education for consumers and merchants;

  2. Dash wallet installs;

  3. Dash to Dash cross-border payments;

  4. Dash merchant verifications;

  5. Dash merchant signups (primarily those who sell basic necessities);

  6. Dash merchant support;

  7. a Dash merchant buyback program for Venezuela; and

  8. Dash fiat on-/off- ramps.
Opportunity is not a dirty word. The Dash Venezuela Remittances team remains committed to bringing meaningful opportunities to the DAO that leverage its existing USD$1+ million investment into Venezuela with exemplary transparency, low cost and maximum passion.

Dash is the only cryptocurrency working to realize the digital cash vision where cryptocurrency adoption will happen first — Latin America. The Dash Latam group of projects are the DAO’s leaders in this endeavor. Dash must not lose momentum at this critical turning point.

In March, Dash Latam promises the following to the DAO:

  1. Full and enthusiastic compliance with Dash Watch for a financial audit of Dash Colombia from December 2018 through February 2019;

  2. To present a detailed report of our remittance work so far;

  3. To release the strategic vision that guides our work and can guide Dash into becoming the undisputed leader in adoption for the digital cash vision; and

  4. To define for the DAO what a successful crypto mass adoption project looks like, so that the DAO can recognize one when it sees it.
This, in addition to our existing commitment to put the software in place to provide objective performance metrics in the format of the “10 Second Progress Report”.

We need to build real use of Dash. The market tomorrow will not be the same as yesterday. Everything has changed in crypto. Only real transactions between customers and merchants, remittance senders and beneficiaries, will move the needle for Dash. With deep-pocketed tech giants like Facebook and Telegram entering the crypto space, we must gain market share in the real world now. Nothing else will impress investors, or even enable us to remain relevant.

Let’s talk.

Signed,

George Donnelly

This is what happens when you have clearly stated objective and measurable goals in a proposal. One very quickly sees real progress, or not.

George promised to deliver 492 Active and Confirmed Merchants in Colombia by Feb 28.

Actually delivered 529 Active and Confirmed Merchants.

Can't wait to see him and his teams tear up the Remittance market to Venezuela, with objective and measurable results of course.

No more cool ideas, unless it actually delivers adoption, use and transactions.

No more pretty talk, unless it actually delivers adoption, use and transactions.

No more white papers and ICO's, unless it actually delivers adoption, use and transactions.

Better marketing is nice, but show me the adoption, use and transactions.

Show me the transactions....
