i personally think it is a bit early for that, if we would be wider adopted it would make sense but for real use not yet !
or you make a PR gig out of it ! find a cool spot (bar or restaurant ....) get them on board of DRK and make a whole story out of it !

I would love to invest in something like that. I have been following recent ATMs in the U.S and noticed theres not a big variety. However, there is more of a concern about AML and KYC this is why in the U.S. ATMs use palm scanners and multiple layers of identification at the ATM itself. Wouldn't it be simpler (for now) to have a site like Localbitcoins.com but for DarkCoin and maybe join the site with the ATM itself? So instead of peer to peer its an ATM that plays the middle man.

Just my two darks.

Are one of the DRK's "Killer Apps" going to be software that sits between the DRK and BTC networks and semi automates the mixing process?

How about we get our first DRK integration with an existing ATM chain?

Should be possible as it's one of the reasons why the BTC blockchain was chosen.
i think that is a great idea !!
not sure how that would work on the technical side, but us to be running (and being backed) by an existing entity / company would be so much better and easier for now !
until later when we need your ATM's at all the Vegas casinos !

If I could spend my DRK at a place like LAS Vegas, anonymously, I should think it would be rather rude of every DRK community member that didn't book a special trip to have our first community convention...

Could be fun and generate interest. How much would a unit cost to make?
Well it actually depends on the features required! palm scanning/cash in cash out or only cash in/cash out/ fingerprints? print qr code or just screen ... it varies between 500-5000 euros (wild guess) ... well thats for a prototype (which is usually more expensive)

Well I reckon, given how small out community is, that aiming for a low price makes sense. The fancy stuff could come later. I certainly think putting over 1000e into a Dark ATM is a major risk, but at 500 I'd actually consider it more a contribution to the entire enterprise even if it is a loss.

If this does go ahead I am in Europe and think it would be possible to pull this off without you having to go via the U.S. (which is complicated for sure). I am located near a major tourist spot, not any of the super big cities, but one with lots of footfall and American tourists ;)

I'll be heading out soon (Friday afternoon here), but send me a message here. I don't use whatsapp/skype as one of those obsessive privacy people (I know, I know, tin-foil hat and so on). But I'm on here a lot so can handily respond here.

Any ideas about a DRK ATM?

I mean would it be useful ?
I can build and design DRK ATMs, just need a reason and funding to do it!
Anyone one know if any head way has been made on this idea yet? I for one am keen to see DRK implemented either into existing open source ATM (ie Skyhook / Lamassu) or either a Darkcoin ATM from scratch. I am based in London working with the likes of ATM operator Satoshipoint who i know are interested also. I am new to darkcointalk, i just signed up to make some contacts if anyone can help me with this enquiry, pls do msg me.. Thanks in advance.

You might want to use the Inbox (top right of this thread) to send a pm to teamer, or fernando, or tungfa to find the info you need.

Maybe some venture capitalists like Otoh can get this started? That would be so awesome. 2015 should be the year for Darkcoin ATMs! :)
