Hi everyone!
This is the Dash Watch Team and we're writing this to inform proposal owners and masternodes about who we are and what we're doing to prevent any confusion about our role.
We are a team and project initiated by paragon in November, 2017 to help the masternodes better follow the progress of ongoing approved proposals by providing the masternodes with objective information free of opinions once a month on our website dashwatch.org (which is currently private but available for private use upon request). In the December budget cycle, we were voted in on Dash Central. https://www.dashcentral.org/p/Dash-Watch
In order to gather the necessary information to fulfill our duties, we have initiated our first attempt at contact via forum and Discord with most ongoing proposal owners to establish a channel of regular communication. Our goal is to fulfill our obligations to the masternodes without creating any unnecessary burden on the proposal owners. We aim to be as transparent and accountable in how we gather the data and present it, but we welcome any feedback from proposal owners and masternodes that will help improve the type and quality of the information we present and how we present it as well as any feedback on how to diminish the theoretical burden on proposal owners we may create. We hope that proposal owners will view this instead as an opportunity to better spread the word about the great work they're doing to the community rather than as an onerous information request, but we absolutely will take advantage of all publicly available information before asking proposers questions to minimize this theoretical burden.
We look forward to communicating with many proposal owners and to serving the network with relevant information about its investments.
