Yes. I wouldn't call them cute, they have claws like razors and growl like Chewbacca on helium

Nothing mythical about them, they change from cute to downright nasty when their pissed or in mating mode. Most of the time they are stoned from eating too many eucalyptus leaves. The ones normally shown with celebrities when they come to Australia are domesticated. There's not a hope in hell I'd pick one up. Like most things that kill you in Australia its best just to leave them be and let them go on their way. (Snakes, spiders, sharks, jellyfish and Politicians)
