These meta search engines have existed for a while now but they're damn useful.

I find them a few milliseconds slower but it's tolerable and improving constantly, I'm pretty sure they just use Google for you hence the name meta search engine, or at least the difference between Ixquick and Startpage (although they're owned by the same people and look the same) is that one pulls results from Google only and the others pull from a variety of other search engines like Bing and Yahoo.

Ixquick and Startpage are nice, however I prefer Duckduckgo simply because I like the look and feel better and I have a good settings configuration and dark theme with that site.

If you really want privacy when it comes to your search engine queries, definitely have a look at Duckduckgo and Ixquick/Startpage.

What about Bing, Yahoo! and Baidu? don't they allow anonymous searches too?

I always told people that DuckDuck go is better than Google search. First of all because it doesn't store your search history and doesn't have tons of annoying ads.

And Google doesn't provide any anonymity at all as I think.
I hope some people will produce something for anonymous browsing soon.

Hadn't you try Tor for anonymous browsing?
As I know some people which still believe that Incognito tab gives them a full anonymity XD

Hadn't even heard about them. But thank you! I will check - maybe it' even better. They also hide your identity and don't store any information like Tor does?

I would not believe anything produced by Google by means of privacy. Even using VPN doesn't fully save you.

As far as I know now many people write their browsers and search engines. You can try to use them. It will still be safer than Google.
