CCminer X11 mining on NVidia cards

Definitely overclock. I'm averaging 600 khash/s when I have my GTS 450 overclocked(ever so slightly, even). This thing is so fickle with overclocking, I've only been able to add 75 mhz to the core clock 52 mhz to the memory clock before it gets funky. Most of what I've read for people's...

CCminer X11 mining on NVidia cards

I am seriously debating writing a guide for CC miner.... Sorry. I don't drink that often, but when I do, I get belligerent and over talkative

CCminer X11 mining on NVidia cards

I'm not entirely sure. I haven't worked with DOS type stuff(I guess technically command line stuff now) in any major capacity in quite awhile. There might be some way to get the window to stay open instead of closing(other than the pause, which is supposed to leave it open as far as I understand).

CCminer X11 mining on NVidia cards

Welcome! First, I recommend you compare your card to the list here: https://developer.nvidia.com/cuda-gpus The number under compute capability is the CUDA version. That is also the version of ccminer you will reference in the batch file. First, open the folder that CCminer is installed. in it...

CCminer X11 mining on NVidia cards

Uleepera, If you've got the spare funds, might be worth it to upgrade to the newer cards. Especially with the difficulty jumping like it has. I'm not making much of anything anymore mining, and I'm so close to my first .1 DRK. Makes me wish I had the spare funds for new cards.

    Hashing Speeds

CPU: AMD Phenom 8850 @ ~2.5 ghz (x3 Cores) = 50 khash/s GPU: NVidia GTS 450 = 530 khash/s (drops to 100 khash/s while CPU mining as well) Will try to overclock GPU later and see if I can get more and not kill my GPU EDIT: Managed to peak it at 600 khash/s for a little bit, then crashed my...

CCminer X11 mining on NVidia cards

Ouch, I'm sorry. If you have a little extra money, you can check ebay or amazon for something slightly higher on the list. My GTS 450 runs at about 500 kh/s on http://mining.darkcointalk.org/ I'm looking at ebay right now(just search nvidia), and there are some usable ones on there for not too...

CCminer X11 mining on NVidia cards

First, what Nvidia card do you have? The ccminer(30,35,50) refers to the version of CUDA. Such as, my GTS 450 only supports up to 2.1 while Syntor's GTX 760's support CUDA 3.0 (And oddly enough, the GTX 750's support CUDA 5.0....how does that work?) Second...

Extremely Low KH. Can I use Hardware?

Boston, Yeah, now that I have a better idea what to look for, I can figure out if his ATI cards will work or not. As far as other coins, that is a possibility, however Darkcoin has something new and innovative that others don't, anonymity of transactions. Most of the others I've looked at seem...

Extremely Low KH. Can I use Hardware?

My GTS 450 only runs on ccminer 2.1 (which you can get here: https://github.com/KBomba/ccminer-KBomba/releases/ ) With it, I get anywhere between ~60-400 KH/s according to the dashboard of darkcointalk.org pool. My CPU is an AMD Phenom Triple core, and each core is getting about 15kh/s. Averages...

CCminer X11 mining on NVidia cards

KBomba's build with 2.1 is nice for the older nVidia cards like my GTS 450. I'm averaging about 100ish khash/s which is nicer than the 40-50ish from my CPU. Together it's nicer. definitely nice to see it working now.

    Don't think this is right...

Yep, 2.1 was the ticket. Appreciate it, Syntor.

I was using 35, just dropped down to 30, will see if that does any better. If not, I will grab a lower one. As far as the accepted rate on my cpu, its better than the p2pool. for a stupid old amd triple core (Phenom 8850 @ ~2.5 ghz). Video is Nvidia GTS 450. In actuality this rig has surprised...

    Don't think this is right...

So far, my CPU miner has been running an hour and I'm at 28 hashes accepted. However, for some reason my GPU miner isn't being picked up. I'm guessing it's because it's not having the accepted rates that the CPU miner is? Would that make sense? Thanks again, I really appreciate it.

Vertoe, Thank you again for your help. I will read them in the morning and probably make the switch. Wife is a bit upset with me since I should have been in bed over 2 hours ago.

Thank you, vertoe. I'm still new to this cryptocoin thing. Just concerned that after a few days I'm not seeing anything in my wallet, which does appear to be syncing correctly. Edit: Does it make much difference that I'm hardly on that list? Rarely do I even pop up on it. Thanks again.

After kicking myself for not getting into bitcoin years ago, I heard about Darkcoin the other day and figured I might as well try it out. After doing alot of looking and getting a CPU miner going, and eventually a GPU miner going(Nvidia card), I figured I should start to see something. After...
